good looking, but poor quality.
Mine is an older G1023, and my SECOND. Motor failed today. I had the motor fail at 6 years, and then again at 12 years, I'm not a happy camper. One of the reunions is also cracked, due to a void in the casting. Very poor quality control. I'd not buy another one.

How about a verified purchase review.
This is a great table saw. I upgraded from a contractor saw (dewalt). After ordering on here a Grizzly rep called me the next morning to arrange shipping.I was going to have some issues with getting a truck in my neighborhood so the rep setup with UPS to get a smaller truck here. This caused a delay in shipping but not grizzlys fault. I ended up just getting it shipped to my work where I have a fork lift and bringing it home myself. I should have just done that originally. After that was taken care of the saw arrived in about 3 business days in perfect condition. No beat up boxes. After setting up the saw and running some 240v to it I was able to give it a go. Works perfectly. Some things I like about the saw -Setup instructions were very good and easy to follow.QUIET! I am amazed how quiet it is.The extension tables fit flush without shimming. All movements are incredibly smooth.Heavy solid base.cast iron top is perfectly flat.Simple adjustment for perfectly aligning blade to miter slot. (4 bolts)Some things I dislike but not enough to complain about. The throat plates are crap. They aren't flat, have burrs and are extremely difficult to get aligned flush. This is not an issue really cause I just replaced with a zero clearance anyway. The router ring inserts don't sit flush with the table which allows smaller work pieces to dip down if not held securely. Not really a big deal either because I just hold the piece a bit tighter to start out. I will eventually make new inserts anyway. The blade guard is bulky and doesn't have dust collection on it. Honestly I don't care cause I'll never use it anyway. I always feel uneasy using blade guards...something about not being able to really see whats going on gets me. If it had a dust port on it I would be more inclined to try it though.Speaking of dust collection... Not all that great but I am currently only using a shopvac. I feel like I would have better luck with a 4" system. So I cant knock it really without using the proper DC.And lastly - The rust prevention is terrible to get off. With wd-40 it does come off decent but it's on everything and when you think you got it all off you'll stick your hand in some more somewhere.Overall I give this saw 5 stars. It delivers everything I needed and has plenty of power. Also Grizzly was great to work with on the shipping. I feel confident that is I ever did have an issue they would be quick to fix it.

Table saw on life support!!! Get the paddles ready
I waited for months before I dropped some hard earned cash and purchased Grizzly G1023RLWX. The first one that came to the house was damaged internally. I contacted Grizzly and the customer rep was more than happy to send another unit and take this one back at no charge to me. Stuff happens so I pressed on. I received the second tablesaw, set it up, calibrated the blade and fence and was ready to make some sawdust. After a couple months and many projects I noticed the cut lengths were not right. If I set the fence at 10", then I noticed the cut was 10 1/16". At 16", the cut was 16 1/8". What a bummer and lots of rework. I then checked several things but finally decided the shop fox tape rule (supplied with the saw) was not correct. Verified when I purchased and applied a Starrett tape measure. So now I am ready for sawdust heaven, right??? Not quite. Next, I discover the ShopFox fence was not square and would not lock square on the table before I made a cut. To compound the situation, the 1/2" thick (or so) plastic fence was wavy and far from flat. My rip cuts were getting edge burns and they should not have. I re-set tolerances, re-calibrated the fence, etc... to no avail. There is too much play in the fence after it is locked to trust it. I have now ordered a Vega Pro 50 fence to replace it. While on the phone, the Vega representative voiced my issues before I said anything about my fence!!! He said he has replaced dozens of ShopFox fences with similar issues. The table extension with built in router also has issues. It is really only good for edge routing. It takes so long to clamp a fence (since the Shop Fox was not square) and get the measurements right that it is not worth the extra cost. Where is the router fence, the dust port for shavings, etc... After spending this much money, I expected a better product. Grizzly representatives... do a better quality control job in the factory. Lots of horsepower (5 in mine)and the base is sound. But the #1 priority is an accurate and square cut. Grizzly did not deliver where it counted most!!

Fantastic saw for the money
Fantastic saw for the price. for months i could not decide between the g690 and this one. i chose this one because it had the router table and was still a buck and half cheaper than the g690 took the money i saved and bought the wixey WR700 digital fence and the wexey wr300 angle gauge awesome upgrades for this saw.after getting the saw in my basement and set up i check the parallelism of the miter to the saw blade less than .001 the fens was out but was easly adjusted in.all the research i did seal up the machine with some well placed foam rubber and tape so far i am happy with the dust collection using an unmodified HF dust collector with a 4 inch hose .i am verry pleased with performance of this saw so far and am looking for many years wood working with this at the heart of my little hobby wood shop.

Love the saw, Router table is lacking
Love it so far. Router table was easy to setup. Only thing its missing on the router table is a hole to allow for the crank for raising and lower the chuck. Most come with cranks like mine. To adjust my depth I have to reach under the table to adjust a minor inconvenience.

I love it and would buy another today if i needed ...
I got mine direct from grizzly for less money and no problems at all. I love it and would buy another today if i needed one. The first review if you read it close it says he has 5 hp. These only have 3hp. So maybe he has a different saw. Grizzly is a great company and easy to deal with.

fantastic table saw
I have owned this table saw since 2009 and I absolutely love it. Still works as good today as it did then.
