Overall, the price for this is worth it because you know that what you're paying for is going to work if you do it correctly. The RIT line is very versatile, and I love that they have color mixing guides for you to get the shade that you need. A school performance group needed burgundy fishnets but couldn't find any, so I volunteered and took on the task. I purchased the Scarlet red and eggplant to create the burgundy. That mixture worked perfect together and the fishnets came out great.

So I have used this several times trying to get red and white tie-dyed shirts and of course, most of the time after you wash it it turns pink. I decided to not wash it for a while this time . I wore it before washing, which was my fault and it rubbed off and got everything around me Red but then after wearing once, I washed it and it still stayed red and white did not turn pink so I guess the point is let it sit for a very long time before you wash it and it will be red! Beautiful color.

I was nervous to use this as I haven’t dyed clothes before, but I read the instructions & found it easy to use. Didn’t stain my washer & worked great! So glad I took a chance!

didn’t take in some wierd spots but completely unnoticeable. in the future i’ll run a color remover first to even it out. super easy to use instructions clear and gave me exactly what i needed. i got a skirt and thought it was a bright red in the store but it was neon orange and this helped me get it to a perfect scarlet rose red i love it. a good size you can dye two sets of stuff which is plenty. half a bottle goes a good way.

I normally love using rit dye and it works super well, but everything I dyed turned pink! It was still a good price so not too much of a big complaint since that should be expected with most red dyes. I followed the instructions, but I know a lot of other people were successful getting a red color so may have been user error?
