Works very well.
Keeps your hands and fingers from getting shredded by big catfish. Very good purchase. Wished I had bought this a long time ago.

Great gift
My son lost a pair like this while on a fishing trip. My husband found these and I ordered them and had them sent to my son’s house. He was surprised and so happy to have a new pair.

Too large
Got this one since I thought the 6" would be too small. But this one is huge. Its super awkward to handle one handed with the fish on the line in the other spinning. Hard to open and close since its too wide in the hands. I have large hands. Get the cheaper 6" one unless you have giant gorilla hands.

HONEST REVIEW!
Caught a huge catfish and this thing clamped on and held tight! Much safer than holding onto fish by hand, especially when they have sharp fins. Highly recommend!

Necessary for toothy Fisk
All I can say is if you Muskie fish or fish for anything “toothy”, you’ll be glad you have these. I was able to land a 47” Muskie on a canoeing trip. Jammed these in its mouth, clamped down and drug it over the gunnels of my canoe. If I didn’t have these I never would have gotten that fish in the boat. Highly recommend.
