Professional-Grade Engine Bay Finish!
Koch Chemie Motor Plast is hands down the best engine bay dressing I’ve used. After cleaning my engine bay, a quick application of Motor Plast leaves all the plastics, hoses, and rubber parts looking brand new. It gives a nice satin finish — not too shiny or greasy — which makes everything look OEM fresh. I love that it dries to the touch and doesn’t attract dust, which keeps the bay looking clean much longer. The product is also heat-resistant, so I don’t have to worry about it evaporating or leaving streaks once the engine warms up. Application is super easy — just spray it on evenly and let it self-level. The results are professional-grade with minimal effort. If you take pride in your engine bay or prep cars for shows or customers, Motor Plast is an absolute must-have.

Make your Engine Compartment Glow
This stuff really works! Wash out your engine compartment using an APC or your choice of engine cleaner and then spray Motorplast evenly throughout the engine compartment while the engine compartment is still wet. Close the and finish washing your car. When you’re finished, open up the hood again, you’ll have great looking engine. The product self levels and drys to a beautiful finish. I was able to do two cars and still have more than half the can left. It’s long lasting and doesn’t attract dust. I recommend that you add Motorplast to your detailing arsenal.

Best and Easiest Product to Use for Engine Bays
This is best and easiest product to use on the engine . It works very well when doing it the correct way. The product last a while . It is better after cleaning the engine to leave it damp where product gets moved to all the crevices by spraying all over engine bay with a good mist. Little goes a long way . Shut the hood and come back after had time to dry and level any high spots with a microfiber and engine looks like new .

Awesome product
I saw this product on a YT video and am quite impressed. I cleaned the engines on our vehicles using whatever engine cleaner you choose. Then blew off a majority of the water with a leaf blower. Then applied this product - was amazing to watch how it repels water and dries to make all engine components look like new. Very impressive product for the final touch with engine cleaning.

Works good
Works well . Degrease COLD engine first , then let dry or blow off . Then use as a finish looks good , last for a while but depends on where you drive .

Factory clean looking engine bay after 3 months.
Read some review that you could just spray it on the engine bay even without cleaning. I tried that but made the bay look sticky. So i did a quick wash after, dried it properly, and applied MP. I buffed some "flat" parts like the engine cover and air intake cover to level out the MP. It dried to an almost satin finish and still water repelling. Other parts that i did not buff out are shiny but not oily looking. Even after 3 months. Would definitely buy again. P.S. Do not apply on exterior trims no matter how cool it looks. It would streak on any conditions. Lesson learned.

Must get.
This stuff is great and lasts a long time. I used it on some 30+ year old engine bays and after cleaning and spraying they look brand new.

I saw the Koch Chemie Motorplast & Green Star Universal Cleaner being used on an engine by Pan The Organizer. I also read the reviews (good & bad) of these products on Amazon & ordered both products for my 4yr old Subaru that had caked dirt in places (Have never previously cleaned any car engine). I started with the GS Cleaner 1:5, let it sit for a while then did a quick pressure wash with foam canon followed by quick pressure wash rinse. I left the engine wet then applied about 15 sprays of the Motorplast over every part of the engine, engine bay sides & anywhere I saw black plastic. 15 sprays was overkill but I left it going milky with the water & closed the bonnet. It was a hot sunny day & left it all day. When I opened the bonnet the result was better than expected, exactly like everyone's after pictures. The black plastic inlet manifold, radiator & engine hoses looked brand new. I ran my finger over a lot of areas like fuse cover, hoses etc & surprised it wasn't greasy. Very dry to the touch so will stay clean for a good while. The car doesn't get garaged & has been driven in heavy rain & some dirt roads in the 4 weeks since I cleaned the engine & it looks the same as the day it was cleaned.

Smells great. Make sure the engine is cleaned first.
