I have been using this once at night and it is made such a difference in my skin within a week. Barely red when I wake up. I I'm going to start using it in the morning too after I wash my face in the morning. I wasn't expecting it to do anything because I tried another brand and it didn't really do much. I would definitely say talk to your dermatologist first specially if you have a bad case of rosacea.

I have rosacea that results in redness and pustules all over my nose and forehead and prior to this product had very unimpressive effects from other over-the-counter azelaic acid serums. This product was very easy to apply, gentle on my skin, and honestly cleared me up a little after just one day! It's been three weeks of using it morning and evening every day, and my skin keeps getting better and better: brighter, so much less redness, only a few pustules, and and more youthful-looking. Yes, it smells pretty bad, but my skin looks and feels so good I don't care at all; I'd so much rather take the product that is a little temporarily stinky but works like a dream over a product that smells like the spa but does so little for me.I am now a loyal customer! A++++ highly recommend.

I was looking for a retinol substitute because I'm planning on getting pregnant. After reading reviews I decided to go with Naturium's azelaic acid. I had no breakouts from using this and I was able to maintain the smoothness and complexion of my face that was achieved through using retinol. The downside is that the smell is pretty strong but not unbearable.

I switch from using a retinol to this as I found out that I'm pregnant. My skin become less red, irritated, and more supple. Initially I thought it was from stopping retinol and perhaps pregnancy was helping. I stopped using this for one week (due to increased sun exposure) and my skin started getting clogged pored, congested, and rough patches. When i re-introduced this back into my routine (which had not changed) my skin cleared up, looks more refined, and definitely more radiant. I have a lot of redness, it hasn't totally fixed that.. but my overall condition is better and skin looks clean and healthy. I used to have to exfoliate at least every three days and now it feels very harsh and unnecessary. I use this every night along with La Roche Possay Acne wash and Eucerin night lotion.. both are great combo. Wish I had a before and after because those really say more than a rave review.UPDATE -I started using this in the morning along with the Squalane Oil at night and wow wow wow.. my skin doesn't have ANY congestion and the redness is 80% gone. Some milia around my eyes is also disappearing. It has turned my oily skin into normal/dry skin.. makeup looks so much better throughout the day but definitely have to layer moisturizing/calming products. I've been battling acne for 10+ years.. and now that I'm in my 30's it's a battle between anti aging and acne.. products that worked for acne would make me so red and irritated, or products for anti-aging would clog my skin. If this sounds familiar to you, give this a try.

I really love this stuff for my type 2 rosacea. It gives a noticeable difference with softness, smoothness and texture -- however does not fix any redness. Using twice a day sometimes is a bit much for my sensitive skin so I tend to use it once a day or every other. But it's one of the staple products in my routine for sure!

I’ve been using this product consistently at night since I originally purchased it in August of this year. I haven’t seen a noticeable difference in my skin tone (as far as evenness) or rosacea (redness). I appreciate products formulated without fragrance. However, this product smells like stinky feet or dirty socks.While I have not experienced an allergic reaction to this product, I will say that applying this to the skin after cleansing and toning I’ve experienced a slight burning or stinging feeling - which I can attribute to the presence of vitamin C since I’ve had similar reactions to other products containing it.I’ve made the mistake of not applying sunscreen the following morning after using this product, and even with the brief amount of sun exposure (approximately fifteen minutes) my skin was definitely burned. So, if you glean anything from my review whether or not we’ve shared similar experiences, I highly recommend you wear sunscreen as directed by the products warning.

Love this serum. It is friendly with all different types of skin products. It doesn't sting or burn and I can use it daily without irritation. I love to use this at night. It helps a lot with my hormonal breakouts.
