Good stuff! Ive been using this substrate for my Crested Gecko for the past 12 years or so. It retains moisture well and helps increase humidity in his enclosure. Good stuff for a great little dude!

Got this for our 3 toed box turtles habitat. She loves to burrow in it and I love that it’s not dusty and messy when I go to change her water or get her out. It retains moisture really well and water can even be added later to re-moisturize it. After it starts drying out, you’ll notice the dirt level slowly receding, and I’ll just add a couple large cups of water and fluff it with a plastic toy rake. Price is a little high for what it is. We were using dirt before and it just wasn’t a good fit for us. So far, this has been great. The turtle loves it and it makes maintenance and cleaning much easier! Still working to perfect her habitat but really happy with the current setup.

Just as expected, the same you buy from petco or petsmart. Workes well. I used it for different reptile enclosures. Only a slight smell when you're mixing it in water.

Massive tank and 1 of these packs does the job! 1 pack has 3 bricks inside, they expand to an impressive amount, very little odor if any produced, more of like an earthy smell which in my opinion is to be expected. I might be concerned if there was a lack of it. Buying this quantity elsewhere would definitely run you 5x more money. Holds moisture well, very important for maintaining humidity. Great value for the money.

my snake is much happier now. holds the humidity better than other substrates. dont use it by itself though, mix it in with your main substrate to give it that extra water holding power.

Great! my snake isn’t used to digging, so she doesn’t, but i’d still say that she enjoys it more then other bedding we’ve used. Pleasant aroma, strong at first.
