Manzanita Sandblasted Bird Cage Perches

First of all, this thing is MASSIVE. I bought it for my parakeets so they'd have varying perch sizes in their flight cage. I needed a sturdy perch that all of them could sit on, and this was definitely what I needed.It comes with the usual screw, 2 washers, and bolt attachment hardware, and the budgies just love it. My busy beak little hens have chewed through their other perches and so far this one is holding up well. It does have some grooves and indentations in the curves of it that tend to collect bird droppings, but it's a natural wood product, and I actually think the irregularities are why the birds like it so much.

Perfect for our cockatiel. The branches are different diameters which is good for his feet. And he actually does use both of them. It can be positioned in various configurations for best access to toys/treats. Wood appears well-cured and attachment was easy [and secure] with large washers and a wing-nut. Our cage has 2 sides with vertical bars and 2 sides with horizontal bars. I placed it on a horizontal side, so don't know how secure it would be on vertical bars.....

I love this product, but my cockatoo won't perch on it. He has been looking at it for a few weeks and has only ventured on it once. I am giving it a 5 star as I think it is a good product.....
