Great value but tricky setup - watch the video...
Purchased this as a way to control the heating pad in my elder kitty's favorite nest. The pad is pet-safe, but runs at full bore whenever my kitty is resting on it, making for a bed that's rather hotter than he likes. I've set up the timer to cycle on 3 out of every 15 minutes at night, and it's keeping my boy comfy now. The combination of the pet-safe pad and timer is ideal for my kitty's needs, and saves considerable energy over other solutions.Programming the timer for combined modes was something of a learning curve, but I found the video that is attached to the product on the Amazon web site to be helpful, esp when it comes to the details of setting up and activation of mode 3. Watching it revealed the "trick" to getting the blinking bell symbol was to start the cycle timer _after_ starting the day timer. There's more, but reading the booklet that comes with first, followed by a careful view of the video, answered all my questions. All in all a very good value for the money that works well for my needs, and something I recommend...

A great alternative to project timer boards
This is a great, well thought out multi-purpose AC timer, and one of the most useful I've come across. It offers the most often needed timer switch functions, is well documented and easy to use. For the price, It's very hard to beat.On the down side, it's not back lighted and the button labels are very small. It makes up for these deficiencies by being intuitive and programmable while not connected to an AC outlet (It stores the previous settings in each mode until the internal rechargeable battery in exhausted).Bottom line, if you need the functions this timer offers and want something that's plug and play, this timer is a great solution.

very flexible
Vastly more useful than an "on at 9, off at 11" kind of timer. Lets you do stuff like on for 45 minutes, off for 30, indefinitely. Or on for 1 hour, off for 2, only between 3:00-12:00. More options does mean more complexity. But this goes well beyond the basics, works reliably, and the cost is reasonable.

Very Good Product and Outstanding Customer Service
This is a lengthy description of my experience. Scroll down to the last paragraph if you want to jump to my recommendation.I purchased this timer back in 2022 and used it for a short while before unplugging it and putting it away for when I might need it sometime in the future. This year I decided to do some additional Christmas decorating and thought I'd use the timer to control some of the lights. When I plugged it in, there was nothing on the display and none of the buttons worked. I pulled out the instructions and saw that the internal battery needs to be charged occasionally and so per the troubleshooting guide, I plugged it in and left if for a few hours thinking that would be enough to get enough battery charge to allow me to program it. Unfortunately, that did not do the trick. Still no display or function. At that point I decided to open it up to see if I could replace the battery. Unfortunately, the battery is soldered onto the circuit board and so it's not easily replaceable. I've done some electronic work before and so I figured I would remove the battery from the board and see if I could get the company to send me another battery (I would purchase it since the unit was a couple of years old). The website of the circuit board manufacturer (not the company selling the product) is stamped right on the board and so I reached out to them first to see if I could get a battery. They responded right away, telling me that they couldn't send one to me but that if I wanted to, I could use the unit without the battery (something I hadn't tried up to this point). Sure enough, I plugged it in and it worked. However, the display was a little difficult to read due to ghosting of the non-active LCD digits but I certainly could have programmed and used it if I wanted to. The other issue is that without the battery, any power interruption would cause the setup to be erased. So, I ended up not going that route. In addition to all that, I searched high and low for a battery for this unit, but there are no exact replacements to be found -- anywhere! By that I mean, there are batteries out with similar size and electrical specs, but none with attached tabs oriented in a specific way that allow for it to be soldered on to the circuit board. BTW, I was also impressed that the board manufacturer gave me the electrical specs of the battery (1.2v, 40mAh) was engaging with me on how to make some modifications myself to get the unit to function either with a non-rechargeable battery and/or to get the display to eliminate the ghosting when used without a battery. At the same time I was communicating with the board manufacturer I had also reached out to Techbee, the seller, explaining the situation and asking if I could get a battery from them (their email is listed on the back of the timer). They too got back to me in less than a day with a very nice and detailed email, expressing their regrets with my experience using their product and explaining that they could not send a replacement battery. However --- and this is why I gave them 5 stars --- they offered to send me a new timer free of charge without me even asking for one! I get that this is not an expensive item and their cost is going to be less than retail, but being that it was unsolicited I was pleasantly surprised. In addition, they wanted to hear my feedback and experience in using the timer with the battery removed, which I provided them (as I described above), and any other design improvement suggestions simply to make their product better.Maybe I'm a bit jaded by poor experiences elsewhere, but I was truly impressed by their responsiveness, transparency, and genuine interest in making things right.I know that few if any purchasers would go through the steps I did to try to fix a $13 timer (it's more of a hobby thing for me as I like trying to repair broken devices), so if you purchase this timer be sure to follow the instructions and plug it in every month or two to keep the battery charged (it says to do that in the instruction sheet). My mistake was that I didn't realize the NiMH battery, if left to discharge over a long period of time, would eventually become unusable (couldn't be recharged) and that this condition would cause the unit not to function at all even when plugged in.

Functions well
This product has helped deliver hot water to our kitchen area water loop. I’m able to plug my hot water circulation pump to this device and run 3 minutes on and 22 minutes off during a twelve hour span. This helps deliver hot water quickly to our kitchen hot water loop keeping my family happy and avoid running our boiler unit constantly. This device is in line with the NTI boiler manufacturer’s instructions when dealing with long loops that can take a long time delivering hot water and waste untold amounts of water. Directions for setting up the timer are detailed but it is a bit of a brain tease to get it right. Device is working fine and is a great price solution than other units out there.

No push pins for the times!
I like it. I don't care about it having military time, and I understand the logic behind it and it's not a clock I look at every day. Hopefully I won't ever touch it again! My other one always had issues. It was too easy to push the pins in and mess up the time if you needed to use the plug with it. This one will take up the whole space on the plug, but that was ok too. But it was easy enough to set up and I honestly hope not to have to worry about it. I have it mainly for light in the living room when I get up, so I want it to work, all the time. So far so good with this one.
