I actually purchased the incorrect part due to some confusion using the Synology part number for the 4G module, after contacting Arch Memory Trish was great, she made sure that what I received was the correct memory for my Synology DS720+. Easy installation and zero issues after installation in my Synology DS220+ NAS. Now I can run more intensive applications with ease.

Works as advertised

I used this on a new Synology DS220+ . It worked perfectly after I got it installed properly. I had to reinstall it after the first attempt since it wasn’t recognized at boot up, but that was my fault since I didn’t push in in well enough originally. Once in place, it is recognized and I’ve had no issues or errors. I recommend it at 1/2 the price of the synology module.

Easy InstallBrought the OEM from 2 to 6 Providing a more robust NAS, and efficient and necessary Ram this is a must-have if you are using the NAS for anything more than Data Hold storage. it Moved my utilization from 40% to 13% Paving the way to run more services, and the opportunity to have other things running on the NAS. IMHO the 2 It comes with is simply for Data hold functionality. But the NAS is feature-packed when you add more RAM. A measly $38 adds so much functionality. and capability!

I bought this for my Synology DS1621+. Apparently this unit detects 3rd party memories and barks at you and threatens to void warranty. With this DIMM I get no nasty messages, the NAS boots and runs fine, I even searched the log files for evidence it's complaining. Nope, this is advertised as a 100% replacement and it seems to meet that promise.(Not sure about the "for gaming" rating, but I want to give this product good reviews. Five stars for not having to play with it to get it to work?)Edit: Speling

Bought this to match the factory ,4gb memory up to 8gb. Took two minutes to install and works perfectly in my Synology 920+
