Our 16 year old terrier was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and is living out his remaining days at home. He’s very independent (former rescue dog) and this step is the only one he is still able to use. He uses it to get on our ottoman near the front door so he can keep an eye on everything going on. He can’t go up the traditional soft 2-step pet stairs, and he has never liked the soft ramp stairs. He uses this one and is able to get himself up on the ottoman which seem so to be his preference and preferred resting spot. It also helps us so we don’t cause more pain by lifting him up on to and off of his preferred perch.It’s an expensive step when compared to other options and the colors don’t necessarily match our ‘decor’ but it’s effective and just what we needed for him in his final days. I’m grateful we found this and were able to obtain one.

Took a while but I finally got my bulldog to use this when she jumps on my bed, had to start slow and let her stand on it, but she finally realized it was helping….worth the money and the wait. It does take up some room so I like how I can stand it up on end to get it out of the way when I need space.

This is our third purchase of the step ramp. The heighth is great for helping our dog and our elderly cat onto beds and the couch. The ramp is very easy to assemble, light-weight and easily carried. The bottom of the ramp has rubber edging that holds it in place without slipping. We obviously like the ramps a lot since we now have three of them!

Our dogs range in size from great dane to Boston terrier they all use the step. Its perfect nice and sturdy unlike the ones with 2 steps. Love it

My dog loved using this to get on couch but destroyed it from chewy it. She also would push it away from the couch then we would have to move it back. Now searching for a ramp she can’t chew.

My dog doesn’t have any idea how to use this!I do think it’s a great step up for older dogs, once you teach them how to use it.

My older border collie uses to get in the car. I feel it is the best of the different ones I tried.

I got this to help my medium sized senior dog (~50lbs) get on the sofa. I tried a few styles of dog ramp and this one was by far the best. Most dog stairs seem to be for small dogs only. Foam stairs were too flimsy and buckled under her weight. They were also too steep so she could not get her front and back feet on it at the same time and she’d usually attempt the jump instead. I also tried a big wooden incline ramp which was definitely sturdier, but too precarious and led to a fall. The Pet Gear Stramp is perfect for medium dogs because it is sturdy and just the right height and length. She can use it easily, no falls. It’s also super lightweight (I can lift it easily with one hand) so I can bring it in the car to help her get in and out. It has little rubber grippers that prevent it from sliding on hard surfaces. Plus it blends in well with my furniture. I seems like it would work for large dogs too (I can stand on it, ~130lbs). I highly recommend this product.
