Takes a long time to germinate
Lavender can be slow to germinate so it takes quite a long time for anything to show up. Once they do sprout, they don't look like lavender leaves. I frankly thought they were weeds but when I rubbed the tiny leaves, they had that unmistakable lavender aroma. I didn't have much luck the first year I sowed them but I took more care and patience the second year and have been rewarded with little lavender plants. I recommend keeping them in a sheltered spot to sprout and grow a few inches before transferring them to the garden. Patience is the word when growing lavender from seed.

Heartbreakingly Disappointed - Grew TOMSATOES from "Lavender" Seeds After a Year!
I am beyond disappointed with this purchase. I ordered what were advertised as 4500+ lavender seeds. Seeds did come up, and my dad dedicated significant time and care to nurturing them. A few survived the winter, and by the next spring, we had three healthy-looking plants. Their growth wasn't typical for lavender, but we hoped it was just a unique variety.Imagine our shock and frustration when, after more than a year of care and anticipation, these plants began to fruit... TOMATOES. Not lavender. The product packaging clearly indicated lavender, but obviously, you cannot tell what tiny seeds truly are until they grow. Consequently, all that time, effort, and hope were completely wasted because the seeds inside were the wrong type entirely. It's about the tremendous amount of wasted time and the broken hope. This was a terrible experience.

Slow to sprout and grow
These seeds took a long time to sprout and are quite slow to grow. I put them in the soil and waited over a month, but they didn't sprout. I thought maybe they're dead or just not good. So, I decided to just use the pots to sow some cilantro seeds. Cilantro sprouted within a week, and started growing. Then, after about a month more, I saw little sprouts of different leaves coming out in between the cilantro. I waited and little more, and smelled them. They smelled like lavender. lol. I was quite taken by surprise, and not sure how to handle this now that I have cilantro and lavender growing in the same pot.I tried to uproot the cilantro carefully to leave the lavender in. I managed to save a few per pot. And I am now waiting for them to grow. It's been another few weeks and they still are really quite small, like not even 2 inches tall. I guess they are kind of slow to grow by their nature? I'm not sure as I've never grown lavender before. But nevertheless, the seeds did sprout after 2 months. So, they need a little patience and care still, even if nothing is happening in the pots for this whole time. Keep watering as needed and they should sprout. I hope they pick up some spreed in growing, as I would really love to be able to transplant them in the garden.

It is really lavender and after 4 months is finally growing!
It took me since january to see some grow. And today finally I confirmed that at least 10 of my lavender seeds are growing!!! I’m so exited and happy. It’s been four months so I lost hope and now they are growing. I putted the seed with other plantas I was growing so ofcourse they received some water when I was taking care of the other plants. The method that worked for me was; to leave the seeds in a cup of water for 3 days, and then put it in a sustract that was good for them. It is a really slow growing plant. Cant wait for them to have flowers in the future.I live in de Dominican Republic, so it doesn’t matter the place if you take care of them

Junk
Dissatisfied. I use grow kits and these did not germinate. I even soaked some and stuck a few in freezer.. nothing. Waited 3 months. Trash. Don't waste your time and money. No value, didn't sprout.
