Works as needed! Great product for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Picked this up in amber for snow plowing this winter. Had some concerns about the magnet strength and other reviews of it coming off while driving. Sure enough the instructions state not to exceed 40 mph. Pretty pointless being stuck traveling just neighborhood roads. I ordered new magnets right away with plans to swap them in. No way to do this without destroying the light assembly the way it’s designed if you want to bolt the magnets on. So I decided to test the stock magnets, slowly increasing speed. I did this several times, in different weather conditions. Happy to announce I am able to travel the 70mph highway without it budging. I drive this highway daily as well.As far as light output goes, it’s decent. I can see it during the day and no issues with it at night. It is definitely not as bright as much higher end light bars, but it’s fine for my use. So the value for me is amazing. I do plan to upgrade to a fixed light on a headache rack next year, but for now, this is perfect! I have run it a ton so far while parked in the road working on cutting, landscaping, and fall cleanup’s. No issues yet over the last week, in typical Wisconsin weather over the last week.... hot, rain, snow, warm again, rain, more snow, and now warm again.

Very good product.
I am a security officer and use this for my vehicle. The first night it was raining outside and I placed it on my vehicle. I wish the cord was not coiled but that okay. I also bought the Roadpro extension cord. to utilize with this product. Not all vehicles are the same with regards to the length of cord required to mount the product where it can be seen. I also used a special plastic polish to help protect it from the elements. I left the rubber covering the magnets on the product to protect my paint finish on the product. The magnets still held real good. The product held up to highway speed in town with no problem. I did take a dry towel to dry the surface of my vehicle where I placed it. The light output was indeed very good at night. I do not leave it on top of my car because I don't want it to get stolen. The product was packaged very good and it arrived when they said it would. Totally satisfied.

Good Product Overall
Gonna start off with some facts that may not be given in the product description that I would've found helpful when I was reading up on this product:1. This unit DOES have memory recall, as well as an indicator light to show when the unit is in-use.2. The clear covering IS weatherproof. It might fog a little in the morning though, but that's not much of an issue. (Note: there are some small ventilation holes on the underside of the unit, but I haven't had any water get inside, just a few small spiders.)3. The cord is straight/flat. None of that curly mess that gets tangled and catches on stuff.4. There are rubber coverings on the magnets to protect against scratching and rust. They come off pretty easily when the unit isn't attached to anything, so watch out for that.5. The LEDs aren't too terribly bright during the daytime, but they are still fairly visible. Best results at night or on overcast/cloudy days.6. The magnets adhere well up to 80 mph. Anything over that is pushing it. (Had the unit detach at ~85 mph on a windy day. Note: I had just reinstalled the unit after having removed it for a few days after keeping it continuously attached for ~3 weeks. So it didn't have enough time to "settle in". I HAVE driven faster with the light attached, and have had no issues.)7. Even after detaching at 85+ mph and smacking the side of my car, the unit still functioned perfectly with no visible damage to the casing, circuitry or wiring, and all LEDs still function perfectly.Overall, this is a great product for the price that it is. True, I wish the LEDs were brighter and that there are more patterns to choose from, but other than that, this is a pretty solid product. I'm happy with my purchase.

This was a "bright idea" for my rig while on right-of-way
(Edit 12=13... I need to add this observation. The coiled cord on the unit that runs from the light to a plug-in for a cigarette lighter is wrapped in a material that isn't very flexible. For those of us who grew up with regular telephones having a coiled cord from the headset to the phone's base, the flexibility on that cord was wonderful. This one on my light is hard to stretch outm in warm weather and cold. So, if you have a long run from a cigarette lighter to where you will place the light, as on a roof of a pickup, you might need to get an extender.)When I first saw the price of this light, I was concerned about how effective it would be for my needs. I have two farms and I spend a lot of time along the outside of my fence along the highway picking up trash that litter bugs toss out, and I spray weeds and cactus on the fence line, which on one farm is about five feet from the asphalt where cars speed up and down the road. My Kubota RTV has a factory camo paint scheme and is hard to see against trees along my fence line and adjacent to the asphalt road where I maintain my property.Attaching this light is easy. Magnets under the light will hold this fairly snug for my needs however I would suspect if you place this on the roof of a pick-up, it might be wise to supplement the magnets with a band of tape to ensure the light wont be blown off, if driving fast. For me, the led lights are plenty bright, especially along the tree line where the bright yellow LEDs contrast with the dark green trees. I walked back from my Kubota while it was parked on along the fence line, and I could easily see the lights flashing from the distance of a football field and more. This light has several patterns to chose from, and they all serve the purpose of giving approaching vehicles a heads-up. Although I don't take my Kubota RTV-900 out when it is raining, this light looks to be well-sealed and I think it would hold up to heavy-driving rain very well.I am very satisfied with the purchase and I have NO IDEA how the vendor in China was able to get this to me so fast... It was as if it was shipped from a neighboring state, and not half way around the earth.

Needed One Quick
Work for about 2 years and then stop working. Went through a lot of bad weather and still worked great. The magnet was strong and held great. Wish lasted a little longer. Have bought a different new one but this one good for a few years. Was a very bright and nice light to have with me in truck.
