I had an optical cable that was fed through a wall and when we bought a larger tv I was about 5 inches short for it to hook up to the new tv. This was the perfect solution and have had no issues with quality of sounds.

Seems sturdy and did the job nicely. No loss of quality. Good value.

High quality, came in attractive packaging. Worked as expected. Optical cables are funny - the little shaped receiving end is sometimes clocked to specificity orientation and sometimes not. This makes putting it the end of the cable a little confusing. But not cable makers fault, just I think that’s how it is.

Great cable good quality and larger gauge needed the extra length of this cord routed behind wall to connect to a 2nd 6 ft cable to reach surround sound receiver without being visible. And as I no longer have cable tv and smart tv streams from self contained apps so without optical cord you will not have sound signal from the tv going to receiver to put out to surround sound speakers you’d just have tv speaker audio this cord good price value and did the job I needed it for. System sounds great!!!

I had my tv mounted and cables hidden in the wall however my original cords were to small to add my surround sound so this cord was the perfect fit I also bought an HDMI perfect addition.

The wire from my wall mounted sound bar to my TV drove me crazy. It's an optical cable and I assumed that was the end of the story. Just for the hell of it, I searched on Amazon, and lo and behold, for little money they offered a few. I ordered it, got next day delivery, hooked it up right away, and the wire is no longer strung across the wall and the soundbar works perfectly. Priced right, delivered right, and works right, CASE CLOSED!!!

This item is to lengthen the cord between my headphones and TV. It works great - no problems - as if it was not even there - and that is what we want!!

This is a great way to extend an optical cable. I bought a 25ft cable to run around a small room from a projector to a receiver (audio only, no HDMI). It was just a few feet short. This cable came in clutch to extend it enough just perfectly. I now have extra slack and as a bonus it has a 90° connector so it doesn't stick out too far and risk damaging the cable. It also clicks in really tight - it feels like you might have it oriented wrong or something- but it holds really tightly so you won't have to worry about it coming unplugged by accident. I like that. The cable is also armored with nylon mesh making it hard to pinch or crush. Also good! Overall this is a solid optical cable extention. Optical is still a good option if HDMI is not an option or if only optical is available. I like uncompressed PCM to it still works great for me.
