These scalpels are sooo good. Way better than the regular non-medical ones I used before. They’re super sharp and precise — my face felt way smoother and looked brighter right after using it. You can really tell the difference. Definitely a step up if you dermaplane regularly!

I never leave reviews but I had to for this. I thought this was going to work really well and I bought it specifically because I wanted a sharp blade. Unlike the other reviews this is not sharp at all, it does not get to the bottom of peach fuzz/hair and only trims it. If you don’t know what you are doing you might think it’s working cause you will see hair come off but it’s not actually dermaplaning and removing all of the hair. It’s just “trimming” the top your hair off. My face literally burns because of how hard and how many times I tried to go over the same spot and it not fully removing the hair. DO NOT BUY FOR DERMAPLANING

The gray blade is what I purchased. The blue blade is my usual tool. The blue, southmedic.com, is more effective. This product will be helpful, but does not takeoff all of the facial hair. It trims the hair short by not low to the face.

These dermaplaning razors are definitely on the cheap side. The blades aren’t very sharp and the handles feel a bit flimsy, so don’t expect anything high-end here. That said, they do work — just not super effectively or comfortably compared to better-quality options.If you’re looking for a budget-friendly tool that gets the job done well enough, these will suffice.
