Great value & easy to install
Battery arrived promptly. Very easy to install with just a screwdriver (as supplied) and took less than 10 mins. Battery health immediately looks great.Can't comment on battery longevity yet, but this item is highly recommended.

So far so good
Bought to replace the battery on my 7 year old (but still awesome) Dell 5378, which was starting to not hold charge and the bios was indicating battery errors.Arrived neatly packaged in plastic tray in a robust but small carboard box, with a tiny screwdriver and in less than 5 minutes I had swapped it over. Fully charged within an hour and seems to work perfectly.Of course only time will tell if its durable and how well it powers the laptop but so far so good.

Ease of installation depends upon the laptop!
Inspiron 5000 series has useful videos online showing installation. The 5770 laptop puts quite a stress on a battery of this capacity and this one performs as well as the Dell original did. It comes with what seems to be a Phillips no.1 screwdriver which is useful and the packaging is very protective.

Buyer beware - This battery didn't work!!
This battery didn't work and also sent up continual error messages (multiple daily) which was extremely frustrating on my laptop. As well as the cost of a product that doesn't work, I have spent an additional £49.50 for a local tech co to do a diagnositic - remove the error messages and also advise me the new battery doesn't work. There is no DELL labelling, so presume this is the problem and it is an inferior product. BUYER BEWARE - If I had gone direct to DELL, although more expensive, I probably would have got a genuine product that worked. PS I wouldn't have given it any rating but if I didn't I couldn't write this review!

Great vfm so far
Only installed yesterday. Simple to do and back to full power. My Dell battery was only a couple of years old and was holding less than a quarter of the charge.Early days, but so far excellent value for money.

Straightforward and immediate benefit
My original battery was only giving me minutes after 5 years. This replacement was straightforward to install (though I had to rely on a Youtube video as there were no instructions with it) and the benefits are immediate - computer autonomy again lasting hours.

No documentation, but good charge
This unbranded battery arrived promptly and packed safely in its box, but without any sort of instructions or documentation. I had to find the relevant video on YouTube for my laptop and follow it step by step to replace the existing Dell battery.After 3 years, this old battery was only providing about one hour of use when fully charged. The new, unbranded one from Amazon is currently giving around 4.5 hours (for now). That seems pretty good to me :)
