Worked perfectly on my 2019 Crosstrek- use to transfer my kayak. Bars seem very well made. Pretty easy to set up- if it doesn’t seem to fit at first ROTATE THE BARS. I have no idea why it would make a difference, but flip the bars.Had the front bar on no problem. The second bar had a huge gap between roof rails and clamp, and I was concerned that it wasn’t gonna fit my car. And then my mother said “try flipping it”. I thought she was crazy. No way that would work. For whatever reason, flipped the bar and now it’s nice and snug.The only downside is there is a wicked howl above 30 mph. That is mitigated by wrapping with paracord- now the noise is reduced to something comparable to the noise of an airplane. Just general soft wooshing, not too annoying at all.Very happy with the purchase and way better than giving $250 to the dealer.

The media could not be loaded. Easy set up/install. Very sturdy. Only concern is the locking mechanisms. I can turn the key but cannot pull out the key when in “unlock” position. Basically tightened the whole item as good as I wanted it to be then locked em in. We will see if I ever need to take them off whether I can get the covers off or not.

I want to start of by saying it DOES fit on the 2022 Forester Wilderness. The bars do seem strong and well built. Installation was easy just 3 Allen screws on each end. And it comes with the Allen wrenches. The only downside is I would like to see it secure completely around the roof rack. It does appear to be secure though it when I did the is it secure test does shake the entire vehicle with no movement of the cross bars.

I primarily use these rack for hauling my kayaks but needed to pick up a bunch of lumber and pressure treated wood is not light compared to non pressure treated and these racks held up great with 16 1x6x10 deck boards, 8ft4x4, and a 2x8x8 board. I definitely exceeded the recommended weight limit and had no issues during the 25 minute drive home even on the highway.

As the title states, I should have checked the reviews. Didn’t fit as stated in the product description for a 2018 Forester. Frustrating. However, the materials did feel robust. Just wish the dimensions worked.

I just put them on very easily and they fit perfectly on my 2016 Crosstrek.........RECCOMEND

Got this 4 month ago. I didn't want to write review right after I installed. I want it to use it before I write. Cross bar works. I put bucket on the top it hasn't fallen yet. Locking parts is like weak but it does what lock does. If u looking for under $200 get this and buy bucket with rest of ur money left. You will get both with under $250

They work well during the first summer and I like them than the originals came with my car. One downside is that you would need to tight them up every time you load up. The other downside is that they are not easy to unlock when uninstalling them.
