Joseph Joseph Color Coded Chopping Board Set

little room, lots of applications and they do not wear out!

I was attracted to this product because I love the compact storage and index tabs for easily selecting what I need from the cabinet. However, the material is not very good, and even though I am very careful about how I cut/chop foods, these boards quickly became too scuffed to use. Luckily I purchased these on sale, but if I had paid the going rate on this Joseph Joseph product, I'd be rather irate.

I bought this set for making baby food. And for that, it's OK. (Some people find the boards to be too small, but for making small amount of food or cooking for 2 people, it is totally fine.)But the material is really not durable. I have been using this set for only 2-3 weeks, and the surface already looks pretty worn out and I can see a lot of knife-marks. I think it's probably not good for the knives, either (it's really noisy and has no "give" when chopping on it)Looks cute, and having 4 different boards for different food groups is great. But that's about it. For a short-term use, it is OK, I think.

These are great to keep you from cross contaminating food. The "file" tab is clever to identify food type. For smaller portions they work well, but for a family it might be a bit small. My knives leave marks in these if I cut hard enough, which results in markups and permanent cuts, but it's not too bad. The profile is also thin enough where they do not interfere with counter space if you plan where to put them

I bought this set from Costco at a much better price. But after using it for a year or so, it is really scratched up, they slip on the counter, no non-slip grips, they fall over easy in the holder and one of the boards warped so it gets stuck in the holder. I'm buying a different set and getting rid of this one.

I have had this set that I originally bought at Costco for several years and love it. It is very sturdy and attractive on my counter and helps me keep from mixing meat cutting from others very simply. I ordered several as gifts this year and my friends were very happy with it.

This is my second set. My first set was bought at Costco for a fraction of the price. This price was a bit tough to take but since I really liked them I caved. Unfortunately the quality isn't the same. The cutting boards don't fit into the stand as smoothly as my other one. I'm not a fan of paying more for less quality.

So it seemed like a good idea, until I got it home and used it. The boards are so small, it's really only good for looking like it makes sense.
