Like!
I ordered a Large for my 23 pound 7 month old, and so glad I did. Was originally using it w/ a disposable underneath. After a few explosions, (the gel from disposable), switched to using a cotton wash cloth. Big improvement. I have forgotten the cloth a few times and he just goes commando. We have had one poo, while wearing Bummis only, which was completely contained. Although, he was crawling on deck, not yet in the water for that episode. Super easy to empty, clean, rinse and put back on. I like that the velcro makes it adjustable. I can secure it comfortably. Other pull-ons are a bit tight on my little guys thighs. I don't throw it in the washer due to the velcro-fuzz attraction. Just a quick hand wash & hang dry. Wish it came in larger sizes for next year. It's also VERY cute. Good colors. We have been in the pool at least 3 days/week this summer, and the colors are still nice & bright.

Great alternative to disposable swim diapers, or to be used in conunction
So far so good with this swim diaper. We bought it for our 11 month old and it sits well, but there is room to grow! We have used it alone and also with a disposable swim diaper underneath. I recommend washing it in a laundry garmet bag though, the Velcro is very strong.

Would not spend the money on this item.
This product leaks from the leg openings and out the top and is not effective at all. It will NOT hold pee or poop. My son is average build and 27 lbs, so the large diaper fit great appearance wise. I am a cloth diapering parent and have used my pocket diapers minus the inserts for swimming and never had any problems. I have also used disposable swim diapers without any problems. Our community pool director finnally was open to re-usable swim diapers (as long as they were maketed as such), but after 2 poop explosions on the pool deck, I am sure that Bummis Swimmi cloth diapers have ruined it for all. I will be writing to request my money back. If you are looking for a swim diaper - DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!

Ended up returning it. Really wanted to like it.
Compared to the Kushies Swim Diaper, the Bummis was much smaller, even though I bought the size suggested for my son's weight (just under 24lbs). The elastic on the Bummis is very strong, which might have contributed to me not being able to wrap it completely around my son's waist to my satisfaction. I didn't want to cut off circulation, but I didn't trust that it wouldn't fall off either. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for us.

Looked a little painful!
This diaper left marks from the velcro EVERY time we used it on the sides. Looked a little painful! Velcro very string and fit was good.

Great swim diaper
This was a great diaper for swim class and backyard poll use. I had my son wear it under swim trunks and we only had one incident of poop, which the diaper held in with out issue. What also made it great is that with velcro on both sides it is easy to get off and on. It washes well, I put mine in a lingerie bag then hung it up to dry.I do wish they made it in a larger size because my two year old grew out of it and he only just started to potty train so I had to resort to disposables the last few times we went swimming.

Works well, color fades quickly
This swim diaper fits my 11 month old well, even though she's slightly below the 22 pound mark listed for this size. The pattern (sea turtles) is super cute. The only issue I have is the color fades pretty quickly. You have to expect some fading, of course, with exposure to even low levels of chlorine. However, this is the second Bummi swim diaper I have purchased (also had the bubble pattern in medium), and the color on both faded in just a couple of trips to the pool. For the price, I hoped for more, I guess.

doesn't hold pee (no swim diapers do, maybe?)
This has been a great swim diaper for us. I love that it opens with velcro like this-- I've seen other parents really struggling to get swim diapers off wet, wriggling toddler. Ours is really easy to put on and take off. It's important to note that it doesn't hold in pee-- I was really sad sitting in the waiting area, holding baby, waiting for swimming to start! My son is 22 lbs 4 oz (from doctor today) and has been wearing the large (22-30lbs) for a while-- so if anything, it's possible this runs a little small.
