After using aveda makeup (now discontinued) for years, I had been searching for something that similarly covered my face with even coverage and included spf. This definitely delivered for my skin needs. It's a bit more expensive than the aveda dual powder, but (for me) creates similar if not better results for coverage and even blending.It is difficult to get the last little but out of the container since I can't figure out a way to remove the plastic protector, but I love that you can close the top so powder doesn't spill into the area between the plastic cover and lid when traveling; it prevents powder from spilling everywhere when the lid is twisted off.

Vegan friendly too. And be prepared to mix it with other colors 😉. Blends extremely well and a good longevity. I'm glad that I purchased this and I will be getting more.

Bare Minerals is a great product, and it is so much easier to use Amazon than go to the mall.

Gives good coverage on mature skin with rosacea.

Ten years ago I got rid of my Bare Minerals Make-up Collection. The original producer sold out to a Chinese manufacturer, who changed the foundation formula, and I suffered an allergic reaction. The latest reiteration has given me no problems whatsoever. The brushes for the setting powder have longer handles than I am used to. My only quibble is the outrageously expensive price so it will take me awhile to rebuild my collection.

I cannot live without this foundation and believe me I have tried. I use it instead of regular powder over my foundation for extra coverage. I stopped wearing concealer a few years ago. As I get older I have just accepted that I have dark circles under my eyes and creamy concealers whether stick or whatever don’t do the job. I use this over my foundation before I apply blush and instead of concealer and it’s the best coverage I’ve been able to achieve that still looks somewhat natural. I would prefer a compact to eliminate the mess and waste but nothing else comes close to helping me fake a perfect complexion.
