Genuine Arkansas Soft (Medium) Pocket Knife Sharpening Stone Whetstone 3" x 1" x 1/4" in Leather Pouch MAP-13A-L

I have had this for a year. It does the job. I keep it in my pocket. I use my knife a lot. If I need to sharpen it I pull it out of my pocket to hone my knife back up. I live the case not only for storage but I also use the leather case to strop my pocket knife.

Good little stone. Put a nice edge on a few of my knives with it. Keep it lubed so it doesn't clog up and don't drop it on any hard surfaces like a garage floor and it should last for years.

This quickly took all the burs and notches out of my daily use pocket knife. It also gave it back a good sharp edge before I even used the finishing stone. It is a perfect size for me, fits in my pocket as well as my small lady hands. I used this with water, not oil and it worked great.

First Arkansas stone I’ve bought. The quality is great, looks great. Bought some Dan’s honing oil to go with it. Never used natural stone to sharpen knives before, but I’m hooked. Love it. The only downside is the size, should have bought at least a 6”x2”. The size is listed, still I didn’t realize just how tiny it’d be for knife sharpening. 1/4” x1” x3” is just too small for some knives. However it is intended to be used as a pocket stone, just something to touch up your blade on the go. It’s on the thinner side, might break in my pocket. Might just keep it in the truck, and buy a larger stone for home sharpening. Still not bad for a first Arkansas stone, great if you want to dip your feet in.

This stone has saved me money 10 times over honing out nicks on old pocket knives. Works great and it’s extremely durable. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Comes in a very nice leather case and a little booklet with tips and instructions for those that may have ever used a whetstone. Would definitely buy from again.

It is a cheap sharpening stone, it works for the price.

I hate dull knives and I carry around small knives that dull easily. The whetstone’s convenience is amazing.

My only problem is it’s very small was expecting a larger stone probably didn’t look at the size or I wouldn’t have ordered it
