Q: Is it adult size crayfish or baby. mine is less 2 inch long and pale blue (almost white), doesn't look like the one on the picture?

They aren't full grown. They are adolescent crayfish. They eventually, with the correct care will be, maybe, 5inches long. As for the color, the vividness of the blue varies. I would try putting dark stones or sand in the aquarium which might help the crayfish color-up!

Q: Ok mine only lived 10 days. He molted 2 days ago so i need some help figuring out exactly what i did wrong. Please anyone with any advice.

I ordered 3 for that very fear. I’ve never imagined live fish being shipped and arriving in the best condition, especially in the winter. It took a little over 2 weeks to arrive and when they did, all 3 were surprisingly alive. I placed each in 3 separate 40 gallon fish tanks, heated with filtration and appropriate food. I woke up the next day, and two were dead. However the remaining one has been alive and well, has his own cave and seems to be thriving for a little over a month now. These creatures are remarkably resilient and under the most basic yet controlled environments they can have a long life span. You might have done nothing wrong. You could have just received one that wasn’t in the best condition. For that reason I ordered so many at once, but now I refuse to order any type of live fish from the internet. It’s a safer bet to acquire them hand picked from a local aquarium, the internet is a gamble between shipping and packaging you might end up in this situation again.
