Who knew that powdered vanilla was gonna be a go to thing in the kitchen? I just a quick shake and presto more flavor in already prepared food. I find myself sprinkling it on baked goods for a little bit of extra flavor, into my coffee every morning for that smooth vanilla creaminess. I add it into already flavored yoghurt or onto my overnight chia. It’s unconventional but so many uses. Unlike many powdered vanillas, the flavor is consistent, the only ingredients are the maltodextrin and the vanilla. It’s not overbearingly sweet or bitter like less expensive competitors. Nielsen-Massey products are always quality products This has been a great addition to my spice arsenal.

This has great flavor. Perfect for when you don’t want to use a liquid version such as when whipping cream or egg whites. This can be added right at the start. Also helpful on occasions when you don’t want alcohol in the recipe.

Nielsen-Massey makes the best vanilla products, including this vanilla powder. This brand is what the professional bakers use. It's excellent!

I like this because it’s non alcoholic powder. I use it my tea all the time.

I am going to account the negative reviews with lack of flavor, lack of vanilla smell and chemical taste to a bad batch because I have been using this for years with great results. I have become the go to baker at my daughter's school and I can attribute it to this for my baked goods, primarily cinnamon rolls and vanilla powdered sugar. I put some in my daughter's oatmeal and didn't put it up, came back to see it was used, apparently she wanted to make her oatmeal taste better, needless to say she made he oatmeal taste like vanilla icecream lol. I love it and when it goes on sale I get a couple of containers to have me set till the next sale because it is a bit pricey. For those concerned of the maltodextrin, it is used do extend shelf life, extend the flavor better of the ground vanilla and prevent it from caking. I prefer it is used versus copius amount of sugar, I can make vanilla sugar at home and these other brands, that's all they have to offer. I will say if you are investing in it make sure you have some recipes in mind that you would want to us specifically for powder and not just a substitute for vanilla extract.

The label states that this is pure vanilla powder but the number 1 ingredient is Maltodextrin which can cause blood sugar spikes. So disappointed that I spent $27 on something I can't use.

This vanilla powder is great for pie crusts and other sweets that can be ruined with too much liquid. It makes pie crusts for fruit and cream pies so yummy.

I really enjoy this product, it is the only vanilla powder I have found that is not laced with sugar. Living in Canada, I am unable to find it and typically buy it in Maine on an annual shopping trip, however was unable to find it last year so was very happy to find it on line. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and I enjoy it in many things, coffee, sprinkled on desserts etc. Highly recommend it.
