Comfortable with good magnification, although a little heavy when light batteries are in.

I have been looking for a solution to bring some clarity in my life as at the age of 52 my eyes are not what they were when I was younger. I work with small parts and serial number have been having a hard time making out the numbers and seeing the small parts up close. This unit provides me the flexibility of not being tied down to my bench using as a lighted magnifier on a retractable arm would do. The construction is plastic, but appears to be well made. I like the LED light that can be turned off and on as needed in low light situation. The only issue so far is that the unit has a tendency to creep down as you use it. I have been tightening down on the adjusters, and I think I have the resolved the issue for the time being, but might have to play with this some more in the future. I would be nice if there was a block that would prevent the unit from moving past a certain point as I can see this unit being moved up and down all day long.

It is good for working on watches and small jewelry items. Only thing is you sometimes have to keep tightening the tension on the strap.

Nice fit, fully adjustable, comfortable to use. Has built in dual eye magnifier lens with a second flip up/down dual eye magnifier, plus a drop down eye loupe for right eye only. LED lamp centered above eyebrow is bright and is adjustable up & down. Wish it came with some sort of soft drawstring bag for storage, other than a plastic baggie. I like using it for close up work. Note- not for use with grinding or welding. Offers no flying debris protection. Safety glasses can be worn with this visor.

Product works as expected but it’s not very comfortable and the weight of the front keeps causing the lenses to drop downward. Ive tightened the hinges on the side to a point where they thought they might break but the front still drops down with some. Other than that, the lenses are clear and the magnification is decent. This visor is ok at best. Keep in mind that batteries are not included.

I was afraid that this was going to be cheap junk, but I only needed it for one quick project at my current location so I bought it anyway. It's actually astonishingly good for the price, I was very pleasantly surprised. I have used expensive versions of such head-mounted magnifiers at work, and this one almost as good. It's solidly made, the strap adjustment is well designed and gives a wide range of adjustment. The lenses are very clear. There's a lot of chromatic aberration, but otherwise nothing to complain about with the optics. The battery arrangement is a little odd --- it needs three identical AAA batteries, and it took me a minute to figure that out. It can be used with glasses.

Like some of the other reviews, items must be very very close to your face when on higher magnification. This is a result of the distance from the eyes to the lense which is just plain physics. Not good for electronics work but probably ok for other things. The lowest magnification is good for working on circuits. The headset will slowly slip down when raised like others have said. Led light is good.

While hardly a high-end product, it does exactly what I wanted it to do quite well and so it deserves my 5-star rating.

Comme je réalise un train miniature à l'échelle Z (la plus petite échelle commercialisée) pour mon petit-fils; il a bien fallu m'équiper pour pouvoir travailler sur les toutes petites pièces. Cet équipemet, d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix me donne entière satisfaction car les lentilles sont de qualité et ne déforment pas ma vue avec mes verres multifocaux. Produit à recommander vivement !

This product works well and it is nice to have a wide range of magnifications available. The short focal length at higher magnification means that you have to be quite close to get the object into clear focus. Beyond 2x, it is effectively impossible to do painting or gluing (I use it to build scale model cars) while wearing the visor, but it is good to do a detailed inspection of small items. Delivery was very quick and the item arrived in perfect shape. I use it almost every day and am very pleased overall.
