Lovely book.
Well put together. We love the section on when they got it wrong, shows how it is an evolving interpretation of understanding. Well split up over time so you can see how things changed

Fascinating bite sized chunks of knowledge.
Just like the Anglo Saxon book in this series, this book looks, at first glance to be very picture heavy which is true. These books are packed with high quality illustrations & photos but every page is also stuffed with information written in bite sized chunks for a KS2 (upper primary age) audience while being interesting enough for adults to browse though too.I am very impressed with this series & could see all the books in the series being an great resource for homework, or just for any children who are interested in fact/history based books rather than fiction. This is another book that we'll keep long after others have been donated as they've been outgrown so quickly.

Love The Everything Series - Stone Age
National Geographic have a way of combining pictures and facts into a quality book that engages readers of all ages and these 'Everything' series books are no exception and are so well priced, they are worth every penny.Aimed at 7-11year olds, this one on Stone Age to Iron Age has detailed, fact filled information over 64 glossy, good quality pages that excites, engages and educates on everything Stone Age to Iron Age. After a brief intro, it splits down into five main themes - The Paleolithic Period, The Mesolithic Period, The Neolithic Period, The Bronze Age and The Iron Age. Each is then further split into themes and areas related to the sections. There are maps, pictures, diagrams galore that are interspersed with the fact and information given. It also has an interactive glossary, which I love the idea of, as well as directions for where to get more info.I love this series and will be looking out for more to add to my little one's library as they become available. I can certainly recommend and whether you have a book lover or simply one who loves pictures and diagrams, there is something for every reader in this book.

Very educational and excellent quality
Everything: Stone Age to Iron Age is one of the beautiful books in the Everything range from National Geographic. These books are colourful, and very educational. The glossy pages are very well designed with just enough information to keep a 7-8 year old interested. These are very fun to read and keep the kids attention with the interesting facts and colourful pictures. We have 3 of the books in this series and will be buying the fourth one too. They are all fun to read for me too, and I learned a couple of things myself. We especially loved reading this one with all the animals. Currently at £6.55, I would highly recommend the series.
