Is this chocolate fair trade?

Sorry, I did some research and could not learn whether this chocolate is fair trade.

Peanut allergy- Any contact with any nuts?

I have only ordered Schogetten Dark Chocolate.The listed ingredients are SUGAR, COCOA, LIQUOR, COCOA BUTTER, BUTTERFAT, SOY LECITHIN, VANILLA EXTRACT. Contains MILK, SOY. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS, TREE NUTS GLUTEN AND EGG. I think these chocolates are delicious. If you have an ALDI grocery store they are a lot cheaper there than ordering from Amazon. Unfortunately unless traveling I don't have that option. On a recent trip to Syracuse, NY I did purchase 20 and pack in my carry on.

Are you able to melt this down?

Absolutely! I've melted down Hershey's, and this chocolate is much better quality. Has to be done as a double boiler method.
