Works as Expected!
Easy to hook up and get going. No issues. Tested it out, and it works great. My only wish is that the LCD display would stay on all the time. It would be nice to see the watts all the time and not just when it's under load - even then, it cuts off too quick. Maybe this can be added as a feature in a firmware update? Powerchute does show the load as well if you open the program. It's not that big of a deal, but it would still be nice.No crazy burning smells - no smell at all actually. Reading the reviews here you would think the thing is just going to explode. Maybe they fixed all this via firmware - all I know is that it works great. It's quiet. I was thinking this was going to sound like a transformer or something, but there is no noise that I can hear. From what I can tell, it doesn't produce any noticeable heat either. I am in an air-conditioned house. Yes, it's 80 degrees in December in North Carolina!

Works as expected. No issues yet.
One of the most unique UPS systems out there. I love the customizable LED lights and the large display that lets you know via led color when the power supply has lost power and was on battery power at any point. Initially the battery had a slight burning smell but the scent was gone after the first week or so. No complaints with this UPS.

APC 100% failure rate
***2nd Update***Friends of mine took the last 2 of these off my hands (despite my warning) and both of them failed dramatically. Fortunately they knew this might happen and there wasn't anything flammable nearby, although this did cook the power supply in each PC.***UPDATE***I just had another one fail (F02 code). These things are seriously terrible - you should run away screaming from the idea of buying one.I have bought A LOT of battery backups over the years - always buying APC products.I bought 5 of these for the custom PCs I built for my game room thinking that it was OK to use something that looked great since APC would deliver a quality product.1 came with a broken battery clip and then another failed after a couple of months with the F02 error code. When you search you discover this is a known issue.I've ordered replacements for all 5, ironically APC commercial UPSs, but everyone should do some research before buying anything from APC.

Sleek and reliable
Not sure what else there is to say -- it's obvious you're paying for a top of the line consumer APC, and you get the simultaneous benefit of getting one that looks a heck of a lot nicer/modern than most comparable ones. Mine has served me well for half a year now with no issues and given me a lasting peace of mind

Really Good UPS and Clean Looking
I've been wanting to get a UPS for a while, since I knew it would be really useful, whenever the power goes out. I wanted to get a really big UPS for a reason, and it was to plug in all of my computer equipment, monitors, audio devices, etc.One thing I really like about this UPS is the easy instructions that were included in the box that made it super easy to set up and get working immediately. One thing I'm not a huge fan of, is the APC light at the very top of the system itself. When I'm trying to sleep at night, I usually notice the APC light glowing whenever I either wake up, or whenever I walk into my room. Right now, I have it covered by a scale, that fits perfectly right on top of it. I feel like there should be at least a way to turn off the APC logo light itself, without having it on 24/7.One thing I also don't like about it, is the way to switch light zones, is very time-consuming. To change zones to either the ring light or the plugs, you have to hold down the button for 6 seconds, and it usually doesn't take that long if you're only changing it from one zone to another, but it just seems really inefficient. Also the PowerChute Systems app that you can connect to your computer is super simple to understand. The UI is a little bit dated, but for something that gets the job done, it's incredible.Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone that has frequent power outages, and someone who likes to game a good amount.

Held up Against the Power Line Spikes & Surges
We use UPS Battery Backups on all our computers int he office. The Power company replaced a power line at the office building but a line going into the transformer on the power line pole had broken in the high winds we have in our state-OK. The line flapping in the wind would send a surge through the wire which hit our UPS units. Two of our other units failed in the spikes, but the APC unit held its power protecting out computers. Highly recommend.

Works great so far!
Not a single issue, plenty of power for my gaming rig and it is great to have the additional USB charge ports on front.
