If your refrigerator is clicking and having trouble staying cold, this is the issue! For this low price and about 1/2 hour effort to move fridge, unplug power and replace this piece on the compressor I saved my 9 year old Kenmore fridge. Very few tools needed. Nut driver for screw on back and needle nose pliers! UNPLUG THE POWER, before you start!

Part has successfully replaced failed original unit, repairing refrigerator. Working for two weeks without issue! This part was more slim then the original part that it replaced (unclear if replaced part was original or OEM), but bending the retaining clip a little secures it in place without issue.

Seemed to work on my old fridge for a couple of months at least and still going.

Less than 5 minutes after installation, all house started smelling like a burn plastic. I went and open the refrigerator and it was all smoky inside. I quickly unplugged it and pulled this out. It was already burnt out. Not sure what would’ve happened if no one was around.

Very straight forward part replacement. I get nervous when replacement parts start to cover a large number of “same as” components. But this worked well. Clipped into place just like the original.

Once i installed the new relay it kicked back on but after a couple minutes something started to smell burnt and it was the relay that melted
