I bought this for my 4 year old two years ago for Christmas and it is still a hit. The magnets hold it together well. The pieces are big and my favorite part is that he could do it himself from the beginning. It doesn't come with instructions because it's intuitive but you may want to snap a shot of the robot put together to jog your memory if you put it away for a while and get it back out. Mixing and matching the vehicles is fun and after two years we have only lost one wheel, but the truck still drives. Definitely recommend.

Four year old grandson loves this. Easy for him to ‘transform’. He enjoys making different “cool” vehicles with all of the magnetic pieces. He loves the robotic message while transforming, The only suggestion is to purchase one of colors, other than yellow. I did not know there were other colors when I ordered. My grandson all ready has the BumbleBee transformer, if I would have known there were different colors of this product, I would have chosen the colors that were not yellow. Overall this was a gigantic hit!Durable, encourages hand and eye coordination and imagination.

My 4 yr old grandson really wanted to play with the 10 yr old's transformer which was too old for him and too complicated. He was really excited to have one that gave him the same satisfying play action and made him feel like he had his own that was similar to his cousin's.

This toy is awesome!!! I was hesitant because it is a little pricey and there were no reviews but I am so glad I bought it! The toys are quality and they stick together easily and securely with the magnets. They self propel from pulling back and all the construction parts move, like the cement roller spins and the claw moves. The dump truck front comes off for the body of the robot. I haven't put batteries in yet but it's awesome already. Each vehicle separates into peices for more car options. My son will love it and I love that it functions as construction toys and building toys.

We love playing with this. Putting together and taking it apart is simple fun. The individual car pieces are "pull back"and go quite fast. You can attach different pieces together to make different cars. Do not bother putting batteries in it. It is very loud, there is no volume, and it only says the same thing over and over again. we took them back out after about 15 seconds. However, it is perfectly fun without the noises.

Hard to assemble, unattaches easily. 4 year old stil loves it, but we’ve had many frustrating moments of not being able to figure out how a price snaps on (to form it into the robot) and if it’s bumped at all, the whole thing falls apart. Magnets are not very strong I guess.

This toy was hit of the party...easy to put together and he loves it!

Perfect for 5 year old grandson! He figured out how to assemble and break it down in just a few minutes. He loves it.
