Did not work for our dog.
EDIT- customer service from this company was great!. Although the product did not work for my dog, they contacted me right away and we worked on a resolution. This product did not stop my dog from eating the poo. I went through 2 packages (jars) and followed the instructions as described. It may work for some, but did nothing to deter my dog. Still searching for something that will work for us.

It just did not work on our dog
These had the same effect as a treat. Our dogs all liked them but the dog we were trying to get to stop eating poop just kept eating the other dogs poop. I even picked up the yard but she would just wait at the exit for the package to arrive. This may work for other dogs. Just not mine.

Works OK!
I wouldn’t say this keeps the habit from happening, but it does seem to tone it down. If your dog is doing this often and it can often be a sign of other health problems like Crohn’s disease. So definitely make sure you talk with your vet. However, my dog is a Shih Tzu and just likes to eat poop like a freak. We still love her though, and this does seem to help a bit.

My littles love these
Both of my dogs get pretty excited for these, I give them before they’re breakfast. It helps one get a appetite for breakfast, my picky eater. And for the youngest she eats so many random things I feel a sense of comfort knowing she getting a probiotic. When I say she eats everything, I do mean everything 🥴🫠Can I say luckily she’s mainly interested in nibbling her own 🤢💀 So since she began taking these there is a noticeable difference, as quick as one day in. Nala is a 9 pound 6 month old Shi Tzu. She showed no interest in her poop but then on day 3 boom she backslid. So crushing lol but with intentional reinforcing when she has slip ups, we correct her and every time she leaves it alone we cheer and/or tell her good job. There are less frequent accidents but she is still young, it’s a work in process. Along with getting her #2’s up quickly, she is making good progress with some slip ups. Another great plus, the youngest has had nosey breathing since a baby, maybe sinuses? Since taking these, we’ve noticed we hear her breathing and smelling much less. Which is great, she would actually sound like a little piglet at times 😏 I will get these again, I’m almost through our first jar.

Works for us, but important things to know!
So the bison fl or ended up working for us, for some reason, better than the chicken… who knows why. It’s not 100% effective all the time, but it’s important to figure out the reason why the dog is eating the poo! I can’t stress that enough. We have 4 little dogs that are all rescues. One of them eats the poo because of “housekeeping” which is a nice way to say she doesn’t want stinky stuff around so she eats it. She came from a hoarding house where it was always dirty so she learned this behavior. One other started to learn this behavior, but luckily they both stop with this treat because it makes it really undesirable tasting. They would rather deal with the smell until we get there to help instead of the taste. We have another that eats poo, but she also has some gastro issues as well. We give her additional pro and prebiotics, nutrient dense foods, and everything we can to help. But dogs will eat poo, especially their own, as a way of getting more of the nutrition if they aren’t getting it from their diets. I know she is getting it, but because of the issues she might not always be absorbing it. Her supplements are supposed to be helping this. These no poo chews will help deter this, but for this type of behavior they may not stop it because it is more of a survival instinct instead of cleaning or some learned behavior. This chew, as with most other supplements to deal with poo eating, may or may not work. I’ve tried others that somewhat work and we’ve had to find the one that works for them, but it was also important to find out why they’re doing it in the first place. If your dog is doing it for hunger or nutrition, this type of thing might not work for you. Always talk to your vet if deterrents don’t work to find out why they are eating the poo because this will best let you know how to help them. Also know that the supplements won’t be the only fix. Making changes to your routine and behaviors as well will be needed, many dogs who eat to clean it need a long pattern of your immediate cleaning before they begin to trust you’re going to clean it for them. But never yell or scold for this behavior because there is some underlying reason.

Do not deter my dog from eating his poo.
Unfortunately, these don’t work for my dog. I have used another brand that works after only two days, but these are not working after two weeks. They do like the taste of the chews. The value is good, especially with small dogs because they are heart shaped and easily cut in half.
