As spirit levels go this one is mid to smaller end of the scale and is useful for those small(ish) projects. Shelving, laying small brick walls, levelling tiles and the like … but you may well struggle if you’re building a house and think this will be big enough for the entire job.So, what does it look like …It’s 408mm long, 60mm wide and 25mm thick and a lovely shade of yellow – which makes easier to see stashed at the bottom of a toolbox – with black ends.There are three bubble levels, giving the standard 3 options, vertical, horizontal and 45º angle.The ends are rubberised, giving a little flexibility where the small gaps are on each end. Plus there’s a god size gap on each end which act like loops for hooks, if you want to hang this on something to go hands free.On the bottom edge there is a magnetic strip, which many spirit levels have, only this one is one of the strongest I have come across. I mean, I’m not going to tell you it can be used to lift a car up at a scrap yard but stick this to something like a radiator and it’s not going anywhere. When it comes to taking it off said radiator you’ll realise just how strong the magnetic pull is.What I found kind of useful with these bubbles is the way they seem to stand out more than many much pricier spirit levels I’ve owned and used.Looking at each ‘bubble leveller’ I can see they’re inside not one, but two coverings. The bubble/liquid is inside a tube which is then inside a square tube. This seems to magnify the bubble inside slightly, which makes reading it much easier to see. Especially the top ‘bubble’ which has a slightly curved top adding a little more magnification to it. Such a simple, yet brilliant idea and it comes on an ‘Amazonbasic’ product …So what’s my opinion?This is a rather fine spirit level and will make a great addition to any tool kit.It offers what all other spirit levels offer, the three bubble, but this one comes in at a lovely low price as it’s in the amazon basic range.I’m very happy with this particular spirit level and would not hesitate in buying another one if/when this breaks due to my clumsiness.A great product at a great price.

A decent spirit level is an essential part of a toolkit, and like most things there is a variance in quality of offerings, some being plastic and poor, others just the opposite. This falls in the latter!Although sold as part fo the AmazonBasics range, do not for one minute think it is a basic quality, or so-so spirit level. It isn’t. This is super quality level, powder coated (what I assume to be aluminium), with rubber end caps, non-slip base pads, as well as being magnetic. These are all features found in professional range tools.The spirit level has ability to check horizontal and vertical planes, as well as 45 degrees. Some spirit levels have a rotating window (45 degree one) for varying the angle, this one is fixed.All in all, a quality bit of kit, well designed and made, and decent value too. You won’t be disappointed with this.I hope that you have found this review to be helpful

AmazonBasics products are always fantastic and this is no different. A basic tool, made with high quality materials at an affordable price, what else can you ask for?The spirit level comes in a brown, Amazon branded box and is plastic wrapped. The unit is a good size (40cm / 12 inches) making it useful for jobs around the house. I personally need one mostly for putting furniture together and ensuring it is all nice and even, this one fits that purpose nicely.The spirit level itself feels very sturdy with a yellow metal body and black plastic edges. The top and bottom have this patterned metallic surface that is magnetic which can really come in handy, this pattern also seems to provide some grip to it as well. It has three levels, one of the middle and two on either side.Overall, a very high quality spirit level: well-made, useful and all-around good value for money.

This is a very useful size for most people to have around the house for DiY projects. Mid-sized 400mm it is perfect for your toolbox. For me it complements my much longer one, which it great but rather over the top for checking a picture frame. In use it is lightweight and is easily used one-handed. It appear to be accurate; I checked it against my known good level and a new digital gadget. This is the sort of thing you want to have before you actually need it.

As currently in doing some work inside the house this is the perfect tool I need for putting the shelf straight on the line ( how my wife requires and she is so exigent):) but no worries now everything is in the perfect line .This spirit level is strong and sturdy ,clearly I can see the kevel bright yellow colour makes it easily to spot it in the tool box or garage or van or in the floor.Very handy and I'm pleased with this product.
