Love this camera
My first Fujifilm was the X100. Then I bought an X100S. And now I also have the XS10. Needless to say, I love Fujifilm cameras, so this review might be slightly biased, but it will be honest.Coming from other X series of cameras and used to the dial modes on them, the new change to the PASM dial was a bit of a learning curve to me. But, after a bit, I finally got the hang of it. After much use, I still think I prefer the traditional dials that Fuji is known for. However the quality of the camera makes me forget about that.Pros:1. Small format and large grip. Even with the large grip, and having large hands, there’s plenty room for changing out lenses.2 Flip screen is awesome. Really helps change perspectives and getting different angled shots.3. Solid, and I do mean solid, build quality.4. Lightweight5. Has a ton of film simulations and descriptions of each.5. Still has classic Fuji look.6. Anybody looking to switch from other manufacturers will love it as they’ll be used to the PASM controls7. Image Stabilization8. Auto focus is fast9. Touch screen is easy to set up and highly customizable10. Etc etc. Just tons of pros.11. Excellent as well for vloggers and video qualityCons:1. The new PASM dial. Though, it’s not necessarily a con, just personal preference of liking the other Fuji dial system better. However, a pro to this con, this system will definitely attract more Fuji lovers that might want to switch from Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc. that are already used to the PASM dial controls.2. Battery life. The battery life isn’t the best. But if you make a few changes in the menu, it lasts much longer. IE, auto shut off at 30 seconds, turning Bluetooth off and sounds off, etc. On single still image shot scenario, I got around 350-ish shots on a single battery.3. Low light auto focus isn’t that fast at all. Just learn to work with your light.Overall, I love this camera. Quality build, sharp pics, easy to use. Also, Wasabi Power makes great batteries and chargers. I highly suggest those.

Great Camera, excellent video. Poor damage protection in the shipping box.
The Pros: This is a U.S. market camera with Fuji battery, U.S. warranty card. Other sellers have tried to sell grey market varieties with generic battery, in house warranty. Beware sellers with forked tongue.I ordered it with a $5 charge for receiving a day early as we were going on a trip. Arrived exactly as promised. The Bad: The packaging was poor with a 50% larger box than necessary and with only two inflated wrappers so the camera box was free to rattle around inside the box. When I took the shipping box out of the mailbox, i was shocked how loose the camera was inside the container.I have probably smaller hands than usual so the compact size of the X-S10 is absolutely perfect. I moved up from a Pentax K-X and the X-S10 is slightly smaller than the Pentax. I do have a slight problem with the on off switch on the top. It's small and I still have to think about it when I turn it on if I'm in a hurry. The X-S10 takes great photos out of the box so until you get used to the camera, wait a bit before making changes. All the online reviews are spot on so the only thing you have to do is get used to Fuji's new way of controlling all the functions. Pretty easy learning curve but I have to frequently check the manuSince I'm right handed, the grip fits my hand really well and gives the camera even with a telephoto lens, a secure feeling. If you mount a manual lens, the camera won't shoot until you go into the menu and allow it to shop without a lens mounted. It's hard to find in the menus but go on YouTube and watch the video. al for help.I purchased an aftermarket prime lens as the 23mm from Fuji cost almost as much as the camera. Read and watch all the reviews before purchasing.Battery was a bit low so needed charging but the short cord is included. You will need a wall adapter for the USB end but a cell phone 5v plug will work fine. I also purchased a leather bottom shell so the body would not be scratched when I put it down. The brown leather looks great and the fit is perfect.
