As an avid mountain biker I truly believe in protective gear. I'm happy to say that this kit is quite nice and I think your little one would like it! Not only is the kit designed to protect your loved one, all the pieces look pretty cool so your child will like to wear them! No kid likes to look silly in front of their friends and this kit will make them proud. The hard plastic will totally protect them from a fall so you can feel good about that. The first thing to consider when shopping for a helmet is the type of biking you do. There are basically three categories to keep in mind: Helmets for road biking (generally lighter weight, with better ventilation and more aerodynamic design), helmets for mountain biking (typically with a front visor for protection and more coverage in the back), and helmets for what I call "commuter biking" (designed for a little bit of everything). This helmet is more for the later.In this case, this one is perfect for my everyday biking. Even if it’s may be not as lightweight as the slim ones used for road biking/competition, it’s still light weight, well vented, and also offers more protection around my head, and on the back of it, which was one of the deciding factors when buying this particular model. Another cool functionality of this helmet is that the liner is removable, which can adjust to different head’s thickness, and the neck strap is adjustable too.Remember also that the best helmet is not only the one that will protect you well, but also the one you’ll wear without feeling uncomfortable. The helmet does have adjustment straps on the side, as well as adjustment knob in the back. It comes very well packaged with plenty of accessories. My son in 3 years old and this fits him great with some adjustments made. We used this the other day at the park and he didn’t complain once about having it on. It’s a quality built helmet with plenty of protection.

Bought this for my almost 5 year old since we got him a bike for Christmas. It fit him great, and is really good quality. He is not the type of kid to want character or printed things, so the plain black one really worked well. The kneepads and elbow pads were a great addition to have with the helmet. We previously had a really tough time getting him to ride a bike, but with the perfect fitting helmet and perfect fitting knee and elbow pads, he is now excited to ride. They are super good quality and I am sure they will last us a very very long time. It is strong material, and my son says that it is very comfortable to wear. The pads fit him perfectly, And there is room to grow so they will be able to be use for as long as he may need them for. This is honestly just a super good set for a super good price and I would definitely recommend it to any parents who are teaching a child to ride a bike.

Good product overall but doubt it would fit 10 years old,Good quality and easy for kids to wear it by themselve,enough padding in case of an accident.Helmet is kind of round not oval , which is exactly what I needed for my sonIt fits nicely for my 6 years old kid but I doubt it will work next year

This is a plain black helmet so you can personalize with markers, stickers, stencils, the possilbities are endless. I got it for my six year old and it fits perfect. As long as he doesnt' grow too much he should be able to wear it another year or so. I love it comes with pads as well. Of course these are pads designed with a smaller child in mind so minimal protection. If your child is a dare devil and doing skateboard stunts already I would invest in some thicker and better quality but if it is just the basic child who falls off his bike these will work great.

This set us Greta my son loves it and it fits him well for the most part. I like that the helmet is adjustable to his head. He is skinny so the elbow pads and knee pads are a little loose but stay in place. My only issue with this set and that I got 2 left hand wrist guards. This is the reason I give 3 stars instead of 5. We found a way to make it work but I'm a little annoyed about the wrist guards

I purchased this as a gift for my nephews 5th birthday as he is just now starting to learn how to ride bicycles. The nylon chin strap is fairly smooth and has a foam cushion around it. The elbow pads and knee pads are decent all around though its hard to discern how securely they will stay in place. The plastic shell of the helmet is somewhere between 1/8 and 3/16 thick so in that regard its quite durable compared to a lot of other consumer grade helmets that have only a paper thin vinyl shell around the foam. All in all I'd say its a very good value.

Llegó rápido y en excelentes condiciones, a mi hija le quedo muy bien el equipo, ya que cuenta con rodilleras, coderas y muñequeras además del casco, es muy útil para ella que esta aprendiendo a andar en patines.
