I like this bible cover, the only downside to it is that there are no pockets and that the pen holders in the bible cover that I received were not correctly made. The pen holder on the right side is a tight fit for the pen at the top but the bottom of the holder it is not, you can tell when you insert the pen in the holder that the width of the holder is the same throughout. The pen holder on the left side is an extremely tight fit to the point that the pen that I can get into the pen holder on the right size will almost not fit into the holder on the left side, but I manage to make it work. I do love that there are two pen holders. If there was pocket I would have given this cover 5 stars.

This bible case is made out of a sturdy leather that fits all the way around most reference size bibles. In particular, it will fit the New World Translation.The case has great handles that have withstood harsh abuse, and the outside of the case has yet to rip after a year of use. Honestly, the handles are the best part of this case. The zipper also seems well-made and it has yet to have any problems.However my one complaint is that the inside lining that keeps it wrapped around the bible has a tendency to be rip at the seams. You should be careful when inserting a bible into the case, or removing it as this lining will break with a minimum amount of force.Despite that fact, so far I have ordered 8 of these cases for friends and family and everyone has been very satisfied with them.

I bought this to house my Zondervan NIV Study Bible, hardcover edition. The book is thick, 5 lbs. and too bulky to easily carry in the crook of one's arms, so the leather hand-held 'purse straps' work well in transit. They fold under when the book is open so it lays flat. There's also a couple of cloth loops inside for pens/pencils.It barely fit. I had to do the equivalent of standing on a suitcase to get the zipper closed. Actually I just pressed the book closed with one hand against a table top while working the zipper around the book edges. Fortunately the zipper held. There's not a lot of give or stretch to the leather, but after a few days zipping and unzipping became easier.This cover is really more suited to standard Bibles than the bigger Large-Print or Study editions...

The item is nice and well made, very attractive. The problem is that it will not fit a large-size Bible. Got this for my Mom to use with her large print Bible and it does not fit. I used the dimensions given here and thought it would fit, but those must be the outer dimensions of the product and not the size of the Bible that can go inside. No way the Bible fits in there. If you have one of those larger Bibles, you need to keep looking for a cover as this will not work for you.

Bought this to go with a George Lamsa Peshitta Bible (dimensions 1.9 x 6.5 x 9.2 inches) and this cover fits nicely. Going to order a 2nd cover to go with the hard cover Precise Parallel NT Bible I also purchased (dimensions 9.2 x 6.8 x 1.5 inches).It's a decent, no-frills lambskin cover, dyed black, with handle straps. No extra pockets. The zipper is a little difficult to get started around this large book, but I'll put a bigger pull fob on it and that should solve that problem.

The quality is good but it's not purple as shown in the picture so I was disappointed about that because I wanted it to match my church colors. Other than that it is great! My bible is kinda large but it fits in there perfectly. For the price & quality I would give it 5 stars but I rated it lower due to feeling mislead about the color.

it fits our large reference bible so that's a plus. the handles are strong and it has a good zipper. we only had to train the pen holders to accept pens. They were pressed flat and didn't want to flex, they're also only meant for thin pens. Nothing with a grip can fit into the pen holders. I do wish there was an additional pocket for note pads/sticky notes.

This lambskin cover is very nice and stylish. I like the way it looks and feels. However, I gave it 4 stars because I wish the piece inside that holds the Bible in place were elastic and not so rigid so that the Bible can be put in and taken out with ease. Even with this issue, I love it. It looks very nice and I am satisfied.
