Hi,I bought this in replacement for the 50 euro remote control car I purchased for my 4.5 year old at Christmas. The 50 euro car that broke on christmas day. I was livid. I quickly surfed Amazon and found this well reviewed unit. It arrived after a week (down to me not being in the UK) and it's now been a week since my son has been using it. It is a solid, solid car. Far sturdier than the previous, cheaper than the previous, batteries last between 20-30mins and you get a spare with it. I'm overall very happy with it indeed. I strongly recommend this car for the age range of 4-6 and probably older to be fair, its just that this was my sons first remote control car and the first one was too fragile. This one is far sturdier and he is much happier.Pro's - battery life, second battery supplied, free gift when you write a review, great packaging, very simple controls which are made for small(er) hands. Added bonus for being able to use it through puddles etc but we havent tested that yet and doubt we will need it. If it tips over, its easy to get back onto its wheels due to the design - no hands are required!!Negatives - needs a screwdriver to replace the battery. Its easily done, dont get me wrong... just means I need to get involved in changing the battery when I was hoping my son could do it. Maybe I'm a bit naieve. This is not an issue for people with kids above 5 I reckon. The only other 'negative' are the lights on the side which cannot be turned off. No biggie but as we also have a crawling baby, the cars lights are bit too... strong for her and she stares at it all the time.p.s honest review, not done after the first day to ensure it has longetivity. The week I've had it (in daily use, charged 3-4 times each day) its a rugged machine.

I bought one in November 2020 ready for a Christmas present and naturally I had to try it out :) The product matches the description/design/video, came well packaged, batteries work/last well and it races along at great speed. I love that it can tumble and roll and spin etc my 7yr old daughter will love that and the fact it can almost always rescue itself back onto its wheels with some movement of controls is a major plus for this versus other RC cars where you'd constantly be putting it back on its wheels. My 2yr old son will love the flashing lights so will no doubt chase it around, but I have to say as a parent I would like to be able to switch the car's flashing lights on and off, or in the very least from flashing to static, which isn't present on ours (hopefully this can be introduced as a feature in future models). I'm looking forward to being able to try it out of the house and on water at some point. I like that its slightly smaller than alot of the RC cars out there - its perfect size for picking up but doesn't take up too much room so will fit under the pram, in a small kids backpack or can be carried without it feeling really heavy. Definately a great feature that one battery can be charging while the other is in use, though it would be good if there was a way of getting the charging to stop when the light goes green so I'm not getting paranoid about overcharging the batteries if we go out and leave them charging etc or if want to be able to plug them in at night and go to bed rather than wait for a green light to unplug them. Once the novelty wears off a bit with my daughter, I think I'll be buying another of these so I get to control one and we can race them :) No photos for this review because I've wrapped it up ready for Christmas, and at the time of writing I've already recommended these to 2 other people for their kids Christmas presents! Great design, great value product, great gift!

Bought this for our 3yo after his best buddy received one for Christmas and he was desperate to play with it each time he brought it with him to the playground. We decided it was time to get him his own one after a few too many arguments over the remote control! 😅It only arrived today, but we already know it works great as his friend’s one is still going strong almost a month on. And with this weather, we’ve also had plenty of time to test it in the rain & mud! I’d say that’s one of its greatest features, the fact that it’s weather/water resistant as it makes for great outdoor (and of course indoor) play in these bleak, wet and windy lockdown days.The remote seems easy enough for my 3yo to manipulate. The car battery life isn’t amazing, but at least it comes with a spare battery to allow for about 40 mins total combined play. Bit fiddly to have to unscrew the undercarriage each time to replace the car battery, but not a deal breaker. The only real negative I have is that the mini tyre pump that comes with it is flimsy and unfortunately broke after only one attempt at pumping.All in all a great product at a competitive price. Don’t hesitate to buy!

These remote control cars are a lot of fun, fast and very manoeuvrable. I bought the car as a birthday present, and once it arrived ordered a second car (green / yellow version) for our other child so they could race together. A wise move!The customer service from MaxTronic / Jane-EU is also excellent, should any issues arise. My enquiry was dealt with very swiftly and professionally, with the problem being solved easily.Highly recommended!

I’d bough this item in advance of my granddaughters 10th birthday she chose herself from many but sadly after a few hours of play it stopped going in a straight line and wheels not turning as they should.unfortunately we are past the 30 day refund even though it was gifted on 11th October and broken 13th October

Great gift for my 3 years old boy! For the kid 3-4, robust and easy to control is the most important point. The car body is sturdy enough. Switch and battery box on the car has rubber seal around it, but not yet try it in the water. Two rechargeable batteries included. My son played for over 1 hour with only 1 battery this morning( in our living room, not with full speed) and he also enjoyed to pump the tires times and times again. Highly recommend!
