Coat arrived quickly. It was a great price, the same as on the regatta website in the sale, but this was prime delivery whereas the regatta website was normal post and I needed it to ASAP with the bad weather.I paid a little extra for this colour (why do sellers do this?) Am glad I did tho as I love the colour, not just boring black. The fur on the hood is good quality and adds a little extra to the coat. I like that the fur can be removed if you want to.It has 2 good sized pockets and 1 internal security pocket which is great for phone and bank card.Within the first week I had worn my coat in horendous rain and during a long walk in the snow. The coat is thin but has good insulation and is waterproof, I was very warm and stayed dry. It's not a heavy coat which is great. The storm sleaves help to keep you warm in the colder windy weather. It's longer too so keeps the legs and booty dry.As the other reviews have said it is a snug fit. I'm usually a size 14/16 (edging more to 16 after lockdown 3!) Luckily my friend had a regatta coat in a size 16 which I tried before buying. It fits but isn't baggy. I can wear a thin jumper with a base layer underneath, but that's all that's needed as it's really warm.The zip can be a little tricky but once you get used to it it's fine. Just have to make sure its lined up properly at the bottom. You can unzip from the bottom too....which is great if you need a little extra room round the lockdown hips!Highly recommend this coat.

Wow! I honestly love this coat, im a size 12 and a 12 in this coat fits fine and i can even wear a big jumper under it if needs be. This coat is well made, plenty of pockets , good zip which is 2 way,storm flap, and a lovely big fleece lined hood.This is the warmest coat ive ever owned and i LOVE it. Ive worn it in snow,gales,torrential rain and minus temperatures and can honestly say ive been snug and dry. I am a person who gets cold really quickly but this coat keeps me like toast. The fur trim around the hood is removable too. It also has a pull cord inside so you can pull it in at the waist for a more fitted look. Seriously its a fantastic winter coat and a mega bargain. You wont regret buying it!

This coat has kept me warm and dry especially over the last few days when the weather has been cold and wet. It looks good. I love the colour too. My only niggle is that the zip is a bit figgly to fasten but I'm getting the hang of it. Thankfully it also has press studs for when my patience is wearing thin with the zip. Happy with it on a whole ,definitely a good contender for top 10 in winter coats/jackets.

This coat is beautifully warm, is a good length for the winter weather and has plenty of pockets, just what I was looking for for morning dog walks. It has enough room to wear a sweater or fleece underneath, but TBH I am sometimes too hot with a fleece as well.

I've been looking for a coat for a while and have ordered and returned lots and lots of them much to my husband's annoyance.This one has everything I wanted.It's Warm and waterproof.It's a lovely material so isn't noisy when you move.It's got a drawstring waist and a drawstring hood so it won't blow off in the wind.The hood itself isn't removable but the fur trim is, the hood is lined with fur as is the collar so it feels warm when fully zipped up.It has extra elastic cuffs so the wind doesn't get up your sleeves.It's got lots of pockets, I love top opening pockets so things are more secure in them but it also has sizde handwarmer pockets as well.I ordered my usual size and it's a great fit. Room for a jumper underneath.I'm only 5ft 2in and it comes to mid thigh length on me which I what I wanted.It perfect and to top it off I got it in the Black Friday sales so was a total bargain.Definitely recommend.

Just back from the beach and it was very windy and cold.....but not for me. This coat stops everything. Perfect for dog walking as lots of pockets for all the necessities. I went up a size because of the reviews but needn’t have. Fits with room but I can’t be bothered to change it I wore it with a long sleeve T-shirt today and that was all it needed. This is a very thick and warm jacket....and I love it! Oh and yes it is pretty heavy rainproof too.

Pros.- nice looking, very warm coat to be used primarily for upcoming winter dog walking. I ordered black. Long enough to keep my bum warm. It comes to few inches above my knee. Has nice cuffed sleeves to stop wind blowing up. 6 nice big pockets for all my dog walking paraphernalia. Hood has nice fur lining, but is quite small. Luckily I have small head. I am a size 12 and I ordered a 12. It was a little snug around my middle but think 14 would look a bit bulky so will live with it and hope I don't pu weight on.Cons.- As many people have stated the zip is very bad. It takes several attempts to pull it up. My husband can do it so obviously there is a special knack to it which hopefully I will soon grasp. There are poppers as well. I have removed the horrible fur trim from around hood. There was quite a large hole in the lining of one of the security pockets. I sewed this up as I could not be bothered to package it up and send for another one. I cannot comment yet on the waterproof feature as haven't used in rain. So, on the whole, it's not perfect but suits my needs

I can confirm it is waterproof finally found a coat I can wear while walking the dog without getting drenched. Very warm as well no problem with zip or fasteners. Hat is small but I have a small head so fits very snuggly . The price was fantastic the same coat elsewhere was going for more than double what I paid. Highly recommend. Also buy the next size up as the come up small normally I buy a size 12 but needed a size 14
