Works Great!
I switched to this cleaner/lubricant a little over a year ago. I was using the spray can but that made it a little difficult to keep the spray off of my rims. Which in turn would then get onto my brake pads. I am now using the squeeze bottle. It is much easier to apply the oil directly on my chain without getting it on other areas of the bike.Just apply some drips on the chain then wipe hard with a rag or shop towel. Rotate the chain and repeat. Wipe down and clean the buildup off the jockey rollers (plastic). Then just before your ride apply again but do not wipe as hard. Start out your ride by changing through all of your gears. This will do a good job of lubricating the gears. Of course, if your chain, gears and all are quite dirty or have build-up, you should clean them first.I find that I now mainly ride on paved trails and street, I don't have as much dirt build up. So, I use this to clean and lube twice a year and it works great. I ride approximately 700 miles a year.

Great bicycle chain cleaner and lubricant. My favorite.
Does a good job of cleaning and lubricating my bicycle's chain. There has to be something absorbent behind to chain to catch the overspray. I always lube the chain with Finish Line Full Synthetic Wet Bike Lubricant after using this to give my chain extra protection.

Remarkable!
This stuff exceeded my expectations in every way! So easy and effective. Not only will the drivetrain on your bike look new as it did on my 20 year old Specialized Stumpjumper you'll get an unreal increase in efficiency and speed. Seriously I'm in awe, deep gravel on a local path is usually a pain to get through, absolutely shredding that area now. Really, this stuff is remarkable. Now I know why the local shop didn't have it. Rather sell you a can of cleaner degreaser and chain butter or whatever for $15 per can rather than this stuff for $12...big thanks to the every day bike mechanic on YouTube that recommended this stuff!!

Expensive - but worth it.
Finish Line 1-Step Cleaner and Lubricant is awesome! It can be used in countless areas on your bike - but it's especially useful on your chain and freewheel - like the name says, to both clean and lube it. The Bike Farmer recommends it - He sprays it on the chain, and with the bicycle either in a stand, or upside down, he sprays it on the chain in the freewheel / cassette area - then he carefully pedals while he lightly absorbs excess and dirt, onto a rag. (With cardboard under the bike, for any overspray. The only improvement I can think of, would be for them to have a straw built into the can. Plugging in the little red straw by hand is a little inconvenient, and they're so easy to lose. So, I keep all my commonly used bike maintenance chemicals in a small box.

Versatile where it works.
I use 1-Step for my chain, cables, and even the mailbox lock. It's best to stick with the advertised use case, but where compatible it can be used for other things, especially rusty components that are bone dry. I think it does way better than WD-40 in that respect if you need things moving again.

Good quality
Always lasts a long time, which I appreciate because I procrastinate about oiling my chain.
