It's not a Crap-ford, its better
Solid lockup, solid design, solid blade, super super sharp out of the box. Seriously, better QC than the crap-ford. I refuse to put money in that business but still liked the look of this beefy, useless tank. Is it heavy and stupid to carry? Yes. Does it have the wow factor? Yes. Is it worth the money? Absolutely yes. Worst comes to worst its a sexy paperweight. But in all seriousness, I carry this, no problem. It takes up more real estate in my pocket than it should for an EDC blade but this isnt an EDC blade. If you want something that you can beat the mess out of and not worry about losing money, get this. Its awesome and worth it.

a lot of knife for the money!
Big, heavy survival/camping folding knife. All steel.Heavy, classic design, high quality, blade centered, no wobble anywhere.Could chop with it, so robust. Shaves hair sharp.Liked it so much, bought 3, one for me, two for gifts.copy of a $2,000 or so Medford knife for about $31.Two versions are out there...D2 or 440C440C for no rust but dulls fasterD2 can rust, harder to sharpen, but keeps and edge longer

Big and heavy.
A friend needed something to cut some loose threads from his uniform. I deployed the blade and handed my knife to him butt first. His response was priceless. He said,"I need to cut threads not split firewood!" I told him I get that all the time. Sharp and well made.

It’s a $30 clone. That in mind it is fine.
I’m appreciative of some of these China made clones for the ability to test something out before spending a large sum of money on the real thing. For some reason I kept looking at the Medford and was half way talking myself into adding one to the collection and decided to pick this up to see if I liked the design and feel. The knife is fine ,honestly, if it’s actually D2 steel I am impressed at how they manage to give you a such a huge chunk of steel for such a reasonable price. That said it is stiff and obviously doesn’t have the fit and finish of the US made Praetorian. The factory edge is cutting sharp and would be fine for lite duty work like opening the occasional package or cutting through cardboard. The lock up feels secure but I wouldn’t trust the pivot or hardware on any heavy duty task. Which kind of goes against the purpose of owning a big heavy chunk of a knife. So for this knife the value is honestly in the hand of the beholder. Just know what your buying and don’t be let down when it’s not what you expected. It’s $30!

Heavy duty, solid knife. Nice, but not great.
Well built, solid, and good feel. Not a one hand operation is its downfall. It’s okay, but not Wow. Was expecting more, but for the price it’s what you get. Gave it a 4, but that was being kind.

GREATEST CLONE EVER!
I’ve Handled the real thing got close to buying it but when I found out Medford actually gets the parts milled then assembles them making it a mid tech at best, I just can’t spend custom money on a high grade production knife, for 200$ I’d get the real thing, but yeah it’s not 200 or double even, it’s 725$!Over priced for never actually being handled by mr Medford himself. ( MADE IN US, a excellent way to overcharge for people that are just on their high horses, I hate to break it to the haters but the Chinese know what they are doing production wise! Own a cell phone by chance? See? )The action on this is very close to the real thing ( not a flicker so don’t expect a flick action ! ) , no play solid lockup an way overbuilt plus the blade is actually holding up very well.In fact I’m surprised it hasn’t been removed it’s that similar and just that good.Feels great and is a beater in a half.I’d actually use this more then the real one 😂 because 27$ vs 725$ I feel a lot better thrashing a tool vs a collective item that knife flippers get then over charge to re sell.I love Medford knives love um!, but really if your looking at one but not sure if it’s worth the $BUY ONE OF THESE BEFORE THEY ARE GONE!BUT don’t get them and flip them as the real thing! That gives clones a bad reputationThis just allows the everyday user to experience something that’s normally out of reach. On a final thought-There that good, I’m probably grabbing a few more.

No Brainer
Shoot for the price and not waiting on China to send you one, This thing is great! Medford size and experience at a fraction of the cost. Hadn't yet need to sharpen, good choppa or box opener!

Not a Medford, but good for what it is
Blade arrived centered, sharp and overall very solid. No lock stick, no vertical or horizontal blade play. Blade runs on washers which is much better than bearings. Pocket clip is tight. No way to really know if it’s truly D2 steel unfortunately. Performed several hard spine-strikes in an attempt to disengage the frame lock and it did not disengage. Very solid feel and weight, only time will tell in regards to durability. Well worth 30 bucks in my opinion
