Warriors in Winter (Magic Tree House)

My family LOVES the Magic Treehouse series! We have every single book up to this one, and sporadic books from the series past this one, which we will buy as we make our way through them in order. E we also read a couple Merlin Mission books accidentally, which was (& admittedly still is) a bit confusing, but an enjoyable adventure nonetheless!My children are 8 & 11 and we’ve been reading the series for a couple years now (we’ve taken breaks for various reasons), and they’re just as engaged as ever. If they’re minds are everywhere other than bedtime and listening, I just engage my mysterious reading voice full of emotion and they’re right in the story with Jack and Annie. Every single book takes us on an amazing adventure with these two kiddos and they’re always magical and exciting, while being educational and thought provoking.One of my favorite things annoy the stories is that there’s just enough suspense to keep you wanting more, but not too scary to cause bad dreams. They ALWAYS end on a happy and successful note, which I’m appreciative of, as we often read this for a half hour before bed each night.I’d LOVE to see a movie about one of Jack & Annie’s amazing adventures! 😉
