great training bands
I have nothing but rave reviews for this product. I initially purchased the 30, 50, and 70lb resistance bands. I was so impressed by this product that I purchased the 40, 60, 80, and 90 resistance bands equally. The build on these is much more sturdy than the build on the competition bands which are usually fabricated with handles embedded into the band. I love that you can quickly switch out bands in a matter of seconds when transitioning from one exercise to another. The rubber appears to be high quality and I have no worries of them snapping on me. I also have one set of single quick change handles and one set of triple quick change handles. I highly recommend getting the triple handles if you are starting because they are more versatile. For example, you can do core twists using only one band and have the band loop on itself and use only one handle. It's a lot more comfortable on the wrists to use only one handle for this type of exercise. If this is your first time purchasing bands, I highly recommend these. If you are a beginner in exercising, this is a good, inexpensive alternative to dumbells and barbells. You can do everything from bicep curls, to triceps, to resistance push-ups, thrusters, and plenty of shoulder workouts. However, if you are looking to gain some bulk (intermediate-advanced fitness level persons), these are probably not for you. Keep in mind that although bands can be tough (esp. the high resistance ones), they don't provide full resistance through the entire range of motion (which you get with dumbell and barbell training) so you get less engagement of muscles fibers than you would otherwise with dumbells. However, because there is that progressive increase in resistance through your motion, the risks of injury are lessened. Nonetheless, I firmly believe these can be useful for all levels of fitness training. I'm at an advanced fitness level and even though I train with free weights mostly to keep a certain level of muscle mass, I like to incorporate these into my training once a week to add another dimension to my training, and to keep my muscles guessing as well. For example, I don't like to do bicep curls always the same way - it's good to mix up the way you attack your muscles to avoid muscle memory. Also, keep in mind that the indicated level of resistance can be somewhat misleading. Of course they are always a little stiffer the first times you use them, but generally, I would say the actual lbs of resistance is 10-20 lbs less than indicated. For example, I will rep comfortably to 10 with about 30lb dumbells. Now if I were to use the 60lb band (assuming the weight being lifted were divided equally into both arms, that is 60/2=30 for those who can't do mental math), it would feel like I were lifting about 15-20lbs. To get the same feeling at the apex of the movement, I would have to use the 80lb bands. For starters, I would recommend getting all of them! .. of course you probably want to test them first, so here is my suggestion: get the triple handle, and get the 20,30,and 40lb bands. That way you can combine the 20+30 to get 50lbs of resistance, the 20+40 to get 60lbs and 30+40 to get 70lbs, and 20+30+40=90lbs, so you finish with 20,30,40,50,60,70,90 levels of resistance with only 3 bands!Hope this helps!

SKLZ Pro Training Cable, 40-Pound
Bought this as an addition to the SKLZ Quick Change Resistance Band system to increase the resistance weight to the exercise routines. The resistance band system from SKLZ is a quality product designed with simplicity and ease of use and encourages it's users to take their exercise routines seriously. The simple investment in additional resistance bands, such as this, is a small cost to pay for a great workout and at the end of the day a feeling of self confidence especially when you notice the changes the investment goes towards. Definitely recommend.

recomended for P90X, Body Beast
I needed bands for training with P90x and Body Beast. These brand offer enough resistance for those workouts and won't snap like most. Very durable, yes over time they will give and feel lighter, but that's how it is with every single resistance band. For high intensity workouts 100% recommended. If you don't have/want to get a pull up bar these + a door attachment will solve the problem

These are the best work out bands I have ever owned
These are the best work out bands I have ever owned. They are worth the price over cheaper ones that I have had snap in the middle of a work out. I have had a set of SKLZ training bands for over 2 years now and they are still working great!
