Systane Lub Eye Nightime Ointment 3.5g (6 Pack) 0.12 Ounce(Packaging May Vary)

I have dry eyes. By late afternoon I need this and then again at night for sleeping. They have a thicker ointment for sleeping and I recommend the thicker ointment for sleeping.

Like this kind of Systane with added lanolin. Keeps my eyes more moist. Harder to find. Hope it's not discontinued..

I cannot sleep without this lube in my eyes. Before using substance lube my eyes would be tearing and dry. Works effectively in preventing air to leak into your eyes at night. If you have dry eyes of any kind the is no better quality ( and I’ve tried them all), it’s easy to use and apply. The tubes are small but go a long way. Use Systane at nighttime and wake up with healthy eyes!!

I have Sjogren's syndrome which comes with dry eyes.

I depend on this stuff for my dry eyes -- apparently my eyes' ducts are somewhat blocked and I sleep with my eyes a little open? I'm a tiger! With very dry eyes in the morning.So my routine for several years now is to put a little of this in each eye (I apply it by washing my hands very well, then squeezing out a .25" strand onto each index finger, and kind of wipe it against the edge of my bottom eyelid). I then use one of the silk sleep masks pulled a little tight against my eyes to keep them closed. And in the morning I use two rounds of Caudalie foaming cleanser to rinse it off very well (it's gentle enough that it doesn't sting, but still removes the ointment).I say all this because it feels like there's very little concrete guidance out there on the internet, so hopefully this helps someone else!

I like the Sustane Lub and has been using it nightly for some months now.ANNOYINGLY, some air is present in the tube. Apparently, this product is manufactured/packaged at near sea-level. In the mile-high altitude I am living in, the tube squirts out, and wasted some of the lubricant as soon as the cap is first removed! And even after some use, the lub still squirts out without any pressure from me, due to the air bubble expansion, and continue doing that until the air bubble is expelled, which is normally almost at the end of the tube's content! The heat from my fingers is enough to expand the air bubble, and to cause the lub to just squirt out.

Systane is the only brand I use for eye ointment. It works! I use it at night for severe dry eyes and this brand is the only one that lasts all night. I do not wake up with my eyes stuck together. I am also pleased to get it in bulk without breaking the bank. The drops are awesome for daytime use, however, the ointment is the only thing that works for nighttime.

even though the US division of Alcon swears that they did not change the formula, when the sustain night nighttime ointment changed to the blue and purple logo design, my eyes begin to sting and burn upon use. I switched back-and-forth between the new version and some older versions that I had. I tested it for several weeks and it was absolutely conclusive that the new formula was harder on the eyes. Not knowing what to do I was pleasantly surprised to find the old version of sustain still available. I am pleased with my purchase. I have no concerns about the quality. and the price has been very affordable compared to what is available out on the market.
