Black Leather Balm

I am absolutely blown away by the results of the Black Leather Recoloring Balm on my BMW steering wheel! My steering wheel had significant wear, fading, and even some minor cracking, making the interior look tired and neglected, but this balm was a game-changer. The application was incredibly straightforward; after a thorough cleaning, I applied the balm with the included sponge, and with just a few coats, the deep, rich black color was restored, and the leather felt incredibly soft and supple, making it look like a brand new steering wheel. What impressed me most was the natural, non-sticky finish that dried quickly, delivering professional-grade results and saving me hundreds of dollars on repair or replacement. Actually worked a lot better than expected. Good color match and restored my worn/scuffed couches! I had tons of scuffs from my dog paws and regular wear. No cuts or anything like that, just discolored scuffs that were super noticeable. I was worried it would not dry and would transfer to my clothes but it did not. Great value, super easy to put on and it seems to be holding up. I did it 3 months ago, use them every day and they still look good. Glad I didn’t buy new couches.

Great product. Easy to use. I wish I had taken before pics. Bought this used car, which had a very deteriorated leather on the steering wheel and pet scratches on the back seat door panel. We cleaned the panel, and we sanded/cleaned the steering wheel for prep. Terrific results.

This product will cover but not fill any blemishes or depressions in the vinyl. My UV germ killing light caused the black vinyl on my bar stools to begin to break down in some areas. It's called Photodegration. I had no idea until I researched it. The product is easy to apply with included tools and gloves. It's very difficult to open the sealed jar of product and impossible without getting it on your hands or tool used to open the container so wear the gloves and be careful. It has a nice shine once dry and did the job for me.

Excellent product. Worked better than expected. Made 30 year old leather bag look like new. Recommend highly.

I tried several other products that didn’t work so had low expectations for this one but I was pleasantly surprised! The color on the leather on our recliners was extremely faded off in back of the head. The dark brown matched very well and it’s 100% improved after using this product. Easy to use!

It does cover up scratches with dye and make the color of my car seats more uniform but it is a real hassle to use because if you do circular motion like noted in the directions it makes a total mess and shows up with uneven strokes because it gets tacky real fat like glue. Also f your car seats have perforated leather pattern like most of them do to allow breathing, it is even harder to spread evenly. The paste will go into some of the holes but not in the others making the pattern unevend. I wish I had used something more liquid so it would spread easier. Now that I have started I have to finish the other seats with the same product so I am not returning it however I would look for another product next time.. it is real messy nd hard to clean of your hands and in the car. So far ii spend two days for 2 seats between original cleaning drying applying buffing, so not an easy feat, I also think I might just let a car detailer do the work instead. I you spend enough time you can make it look good but leather looks like vinyl in the end. Your decision… !

I rarely review things on Amazon but this product is great! I dyed the seats on my 28 year old classic BMW and they look brand new! The product is super easy to work with. Those seats look so good it makes me want to do the whole interior! One plus is it doesn’t have an offensive chemical odor that hangs around. It also dries super fast with no color transfer onto my clothes. Very high quality product. I’ll buy it again if I even need anymore.

Ease of application to the leather sofa. Results are satisfactory. Delivery period if shortened to 2 weeks or so instead of 4 weeks would be better.

Excellent product works really well easy to use, repairs and softens leather may need more than one coat but can acquire very good finish.

Ich hatte einen dänischen Midcentury Sessel, den ich mit neuem Leder hatte beziehen lassen. Blöderweise habe ich ihn dann für 15 Jahre in einer Garage gelagert, was dem Sessel überhaupt nicht bekommen ist. Als ich ihn rausholte, war das Leder komplett zerkratzt (das muss aber schon vorher passiert sein) und hatte sehr gelitten. Ich habe ihn jetzt mit diesem Reparaturset behandelt und ich kann kaum glauben, wie schön er jetzt wieder aussieht! Die Anwendung ist einfach aber ich habe einen Fehler gemacht: Man sollte mit dem Schwamm so gründlich wie möglich verteilen und einreiben. Ich habe ein paar Streifen produziert, weil ich nicht ganz gleichmäßig aufgetragen habe. Man sieht sie allerdings nicht sehr stark und auch nicht in jedem Licht. Wer das aber vermeiden will, sollte nachher mit dem Schwamm in diesem Arbeitsschritt besonders gründlich sein. Ist super geworden und ich empfehle dieses Produkt sehr gerne weiter!
