Works Great!
I just recently learned about the RollnJack lift and after reading reviews/Q&As/FAQs and watching every video I could find, decided it should work well for me and placed my order. I had previously been using the Wayalife method of removing/storing the hardtop, however this seemed like it would be much quicker The RollnJack arrived in sturdy packaging just as noted in many other reviews, and all the parts were nicely packed inside. Installation took less than an hour, including unboxing, separating parts, etc. Instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Once assembled, I tried it out right away. I have a stock JLU Rubicon and backed it into the garage about halfway, then removed the freedom panels and all the bolts for the hardtop. I set the post with 5 holes showing at the bottom, and moved the lift into position, locked the wheels, turned the crank to move the posts up a bit, made some decisions about the contact points, then kept cranking until the hardtop was lifted. I then unlocked the wheels and started to pull the lift back, however the front of the hardtop tilted down more than I expected, so I cranked the lift up more until everything looked like it was going to clear. I then backed it out again, same as in the RollnJack video, making a slight turn to the left while backing up in order to clear the spare. Once I had it moved back enough, I added the fifth support post, then pulled it back to be flush against the raise in the garage floor. Then came the parking test. The Jeep was able to park in the garage with the hood under the lift holding the stand, in the same position as I usually parked it. Although the tilt of the hardtop when on the lift looks much more extreme from what I expected it to be, it still feels very secure, and I am pretty confident it is not going to budge. My overall impression with the RollnJack lift is that is delivers as promised. It is very well thought out, feels very solid, and made removal of the hardtop much quicker and simpler than the previous method I was using. I will update this review once I use the lift to put the hardtop back on (probably later this week), but it looks like it is going to make that task pretty easy as well. For reference purposes, my garage is 19’6” deep, with the last 36” being raised up 3”. I did end up putting a section of 2x6 down against the raised part of the garage floor in order to move the lift back towards the garage door a little – did this as the entry door to the house is directly in front of where the Jeep is parked and I wanted to provide a little more space to clear the crank handle. The only suggestions I have for RollnJack at this is to add clearer examples/videos/photos of contact points for the posts, and maybe make the crank handle removable or foldable. So far I am very happy with my RollnJack purchase!

Only Lift to Buy
I bought the Jeep not really thinking about the top. I live in an apartment but have a storage unit with a lot of space. At 1st I thought I’d wait until next spring (2023) to buy something or figure something out to remove the top. After a month and some nice days it was time to rethink spring. My problem being I don’t have my own garage anymore I started seeing what was out. (I still had my own garage I’d built my own DIY w/ an electric hoist) Since this wasn’t possible I found 3 that looked like they would work. After a few YouTube videos / ease of assembly / price $150 plus less than other 2. This looked to be the best bet. Worst case is box it up and send it back thanks to prime membership. Put it together in 2 pcs / took 1 1/2 to storage plus box / then went home got the other 1/2. Put the 2 pcs together at storage unit. Storage unit is just under a mile from my apartment. Total time to do this including driving / under 40 minutes. Total time to have the top off under an hour. Was kind of worried to put the top back on that evening thinking it might not be as easy as I thought. I was way off on that. Pulled in the storage unit at 9:21 PM and was driving out at 9:34 PM. I don’t leave reviews very often. But this lift is so nice / easy / well built / priced most reasonable / assembly was so easy / removal of top even easier. If you can’t do your own and want something extremely well built and extremely easy to use. Don’t waste time anywhere else looking. I laughed at a YouTube video of a wife and husband that have a channel and both own wranglers. His a 2 door mine is a 4 door. The lift she bought him for Christmas was one I looked at. THANK YOU I didn’t buy that. More money. More boxes and parts than I thought possible. Then it was a$$. Their edited video was damn near longer than it took me to assemble / drive X 2 / off / on / freedom panels X 2. 40 some minutes edited!!!!! Don’t waste your time / money on a lift other than this.

I love it.
Been owning wranglers since I was 18, I'm on my 9th Wrangler now. This is the best "must have'' if you have a hardtop. I usually buy Hardtops, sell the top and make it pay for the lift, wheels bumpers or what ever I needed, specially since I ran my jeeps topless most of the time. This year I bought a 2024 Wrangler with a HT, took the top off the old hard way, just me and my back. At 60. it aint as easy as being 30,40 even 50. So I started looking for helping hand. After much research I settled on this lift system. Came in quick, a single large box. opened it, did a part check, 20 minutes it was assembled if that. all tools provided. I was impressed with the quality of the metals, precise cuts and welds. good quality casters, which two are lockable. After assembly, I had to left the top of the ground cause that's where I had it sitting. A bit of knee pain and lots of grunts, I managed to barely get it over the machine, and it was smooth sailing from then on, rolled it onto the Garage, sat there suspended till today (About 3 weeks) rain is coming tonight. So, I rolled back out, very straight, maneuverable, easy to push, aligned it with the wrangler, pushed it bit by bit, lowered it, placed the bolts, they fit perfect, then 100% lowered it and rolled it back to the garage. took me about 2-3 minutes to have top perfect on the jeep. Pro: Easy assembly, 20 minutes if you know stuff. 30-45 if you know nothing. Very solid built, good fitments, good casters, tools provided. Cons: Could be a bit cheaper. but not bad really. I highly recommend, I might modify it to have hold the doors also! Maybe I said. Buy the darn thing. 06/30/2025 UPDATE: After multi uses, it's still sturdy as first time I used it about 5 months ago. I had the ceiling mounted winches, they are just a apin, top hanging all the time. Man! If I knew about this before I got married.

You Deserve This!
Ladies this is for you! I bought the Roll and Jack in 2021 and we still use it today. It works flawlessly. It is easy to put together, easy to use, easy to store and acts as storage for the hard top when removed. You can also simply park your Jeep beneath as it accommodates that as well! By the way, it is also portable. Have fun with this, well worth the price ( it was more expensive back then) and it is a great product. One of the best purchases I have ever made!

Great product
Just got this today and I love it. Assembly was very easy. Done in about 20 minutes. The product is sturdy and made from quality materials. IMPORTANT note...I have a 2009 Jeep wrangler 2 door with a 2.5" lift and 35 inch tires. The jack barely lifts the top high enough to get it off. So if you've got a taller Jeep you will need to modify this jack somehow. Very happy with the product though

Game changer for hard-top removal and storage
We purchased this for our two-door Jeep Wrangler and it has been a total game changer. The unit is very sturdy, well-designed, and surprisingly easy to assemble. Using it to remove and reinstall the hard top is simple and straightforward. One person can handle the process without any struggle, and the lift feels secure the entire time. In the photo of our Jeep with the top off, we used this hoist to remove it easily. An added bonus is how well it stores the hard top once it’s off. It keeps the top safely out of the way, and we can drive the front of the Jeep right underneath it without any issues. If you have a Jeep with a hard top, this is absolutely worth it. Solid construction, easy to use, and extremely practical. Highly recommend.

Super High Quality Item
Top quality item is one of the best products I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. Packaged with organization and care, this lift was easy to put together and is flawless in design and functionality. It’s packed with spare parts and clear instructions. Although it’s not cheap, the value is evident and is sure to save me many hours of time, and many hours of excess effort removing, storing and installing my hardtop.
