Hinges arrived broken

Too late to return since I bought this last year. Junk. Both plastic axles were broken. The seat itself actually seems decent, so what is the point of making a nice seat and then putting such cheap hinges on it?

Ouch !!

Cheap !! Be sure the nylon attaching screws don't loosen. When you tighten the screws to hold it down, they strip out and the lid slides around .
