dreamGEAR PS4 Prime-Amplified, Wired Stereo Headset with Boom Microphone and inline Dual Volume/Mute Controls

I only tried it for a few mins. The chat volume controlled the game volume and vice versa. I'm not sure if it's just mine. Also, sound is meh. I don't know if it could go louder. They're comfy though. (update) After plugging the wires in a different manner, I found out that the reason the chat volume controlled everything was because of my tv. I have an insignia, and i had to go to the audio menu to change the output of the volume. I had a much better sound experience afterwards and am very pleased with these cans. I played ghosts and i could hear footsteps of enemy troops easily. I got mine for 40 bucks and i think it was a steal. These are very good if you are new to the headset gaming world.

I used this headset about 5 days then I was gonna use it to play and couldn't hear any kind of sound but overall it's sounds great and I hope this headset work for YOU guys I got a buzz sound noise when I plug the usb to the ps4 controller

These were a replacement for the turtle beach x11 that I some how broke last year and i have to say the quality is almost similar but the head phones are hard to adjust and are really firm against my head which does get annoying after a while but that went away when i strected them a bit. I did notice buzzing but that only if the controller is buzzing. Use these every night so i can listen to BF4 in all its warfare goodness (big plus for the long cord). I would have given these headphones a 5 star but the fact that they hurt my head the first couple of days i was contemplating returning them. Great buy for the price they are quality headsets for the PS4

Pretty disappointed with this product - while it looks good, fits well and when it works it provided good quality sound. Unfortunately after 6 months the lights stopped working and I started to get a strange buzzing noise. So since it was already out of warranty and not working, I opened it up to see if I could fix it myself. I did, but was really shocked to see just how poor the wiring, components and general construction are. Then just yesterday the mike gave out and I'm throwing these in the garbage now.

I strongly recommend not buying this product. I had three problems with these headphones they were uncomfortable, a ringing or buzzing could be heard through the headset, and the microphone barely worked. After wearing these for about twenty minutes you start to feel a soreness developing on top of your head where the pad pushes down into you. This can become quite annoying if you plan to use these for an extended amount of time. A buzzing noise can be heard through the headset when it is plugged in with it's usb cable, but even when it is not the sound quality is still questionable. And the microphone barely worked, or sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. The only reason that I gave this two stars instead of one is that it did work somewhat and wasn't completely useless. A pair of iphone earbuds does essentially the exact same thing and provides the same if not better gaming experience with the ps4. So overall I don't recommend this headset.

I really liked this headset when I first got it and for the first few days it worked great and sounded awesome. But on the third or fourth day, when I went to put them on, I heard a static buzz noise coming through as soon as I plugged in the USB power cord on the headset. I tried several different USB ports including the one on my PS4, one on my computer that's near my PS4, an extra USB port on my keyboard, all of which instantly generated the buzz noise that is pretty noticeable, and pretty annoying. However I did find that if I turned my overall volume up loud enough that the buzz seems to get drowned out, but doing so makes hearing chat from people you're chatting with in a party virtually impossible. All in all, I would have given these a 4 or 5 star rating three days ago, but I definitely would not recommend to anyone with a buzz noise that starts happening within the first week of using the headset. EDIT - After playing with the headset some more, I've determined that the buzz noise only occurs when the jack for the chat function that plugs into the PS4 controller is plugged in AND when the controller is plugged into USB power getting charged at the same time. If I unplug either the controller from USB power OR the headset jack from the controller, the buzz noise stops. Still a little annoying, but it's good to know the buzzing isn't a permanent shortcoming in the headset.

Made very well and very comfortable to ware its all so corded so it never goes dead on you in middle of game play the led on the side is very bright when lights are off its lights the room up.Dream Gear very well known brand the mic on it very clear when you talk to other's on it its all most like Sony but its great headset for the price.

I love this headset I have had it for almost a year it's not the best headset but it gets the job done and for the price it's a steal and I was reading some reviews and the static happens when you are charging your PS4 controller but besides that they are very comfortable and I would defenetly buy another pair if these broke.

Clumsy setup, bulky with wires all over the place. USB to PS4 with a split and audio cable to Stereo (Adapter for 3/4 to 1/8 needed). Main wire to headset splits off to joystick. Annoying hum when joystick is charging! Why is Sony the only one capable of creating a simple USB connected headphone that works, aside from snapping in two after 4 months?

Bull**** doesn't connect to the ps4 it has to connect to your tv. Waste of money.
