Great lids
Great lids. Survived pressure canning without any problems. Will purchase again when I need more.

Reliable, but perhaps too safe.
They're fool proof. Nothing you don't want in your jars will get in. The down side is that they don't allow alot of gas exchang, slowing down the process. Better safe than sorry.

Nice lids
Nice lids, was very easy to make liquid culture jars in my pressure cooker

They work great
The only reason that they are 4 stars instead of 5 is because the filters are only held by friction. I wish they twisted or something to be more secure.

Very good!
I got this item and I was hesitant to sterilize them (with the red filter on) in a pressure cooker as I feared they would melt.Surprisingly they didn't and they're working as intended.Do note that the filter connects to the cap through friction and not a twist lock or anything. It's still pretty tight but good to know prior to purchase.

Seems excellent, though I haven't put to use yet.
I am using for PF Tek. Once the jars are pasteurized and ready for injection, I gently turn lid as far as will go clockwise (should not be tight for pasteurizing) without tightening snugly, and inject in that position. Turn 90° counter clockwise and inject in that position. Do this twice more, steadying the lid with a gentle downward pressure with one hand, since the lid will be nearly unscrewed, then turn back clockwise and snug.

They have worked over and over.
I've used these successfully multiple times. Plus you can put new filters on. The stem that holds them made this purchase worth it. I can't even find the parts they use as a set. The stems ... don't remember the name, cost like $3.50 each. Without the nut and o rings that hold it on. So if I buy more I'll definitely buy these. Idex p-18 luer lock threaded I believe is the name.

Great item buy not exactly what image portrayed
Works beautifully and solidly built but the seal on the lid is the standard non-replaceable seal not the silicone seal that was shown in the image. False advertisement. Need to fix that asap please 🙏

Solid Product!
Great product, used these lids for the first time and they were easy to use and held up well in high temperatures!

Exactly what I was looking for
I was going to make my own lids for mushroom cultivation until I found these. I love that they have an injection port and a hydrophobic filter. A little tip for anyone using these, do not keep the hydrophobic filter on when sterilizing your jars + lids. Once a hydrophobic filter becomes wet it no longer works. Best practice would be to purchase sterile hydrophobic filters and replace them every time you sterilize.

Needs modification
This product sort of works, but needs to be modified by hand to work better. The hole is too small to properly give gas exchange, so your mycelium starts choking out / getting fuzzy feet / dying and contaminating.I had to cut off the extra piece of plastic in the cap, and then just put polyfill in the lid (because the hole was too large for the filter)I plan on using the filters that were included on home made lids (with self healing injection port via High Temp Silicone)This is especially relevant on mycelium that is gas exchange sensitive, like Oysters.
