sweet
I noticed in the reviews, people commenting on a lack of O-rings for this cap not realizing they can reuse the stock O-ring . lucky for me, i have a whole box of metric O-rings. fits nice and tight.

Very Chrome
I love the look of this on my 2001 Vulcan Classic. It gives a sleek look and the Vulcan logo is very nice too. Much easier to remove to change oil verses the old slotted one from the factory.

Didn’t come with the necessary o-ring
Did not come with the necessary o-ring so I still had to source that, but the overall quality was good.

Works great and looks great
Only issue i have is it did not come with an o-ring to seat into the cap and the metal looked cheap on the bottom side.

Adds that little extra to your bike
Not a lot to say. Looks great and adds just a little extra to my bike.

Pretty...but ruined our clothes!
Man I wanted to like this. I'd had it in my wish list for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but engraved nicely. Here's the problem. I put it on after my spring oil change. Rode once, no problems at all. Second ride my wife jumped on the back, off we went, and within 4 minutes it popped off and we were sprayed with oil shooting out of the engine. It got EVERYWHERE. Sprayed my windshield, soaked our pants and shirts. Totally ruined them. I was able to stop and luckily get back home, change, grab more oil and the stock cap and then get the bike home. Totally ruined the lunch date we had planned.Funny enough once I got home I found this oil cap wedged near the shifter. I've still got it and somehow, someway I consider that, although unlikely, I could have just not tightened it enough when I put it on...but that is really unlikely. I MIGHT try it again sometime, but will definitely be wearing throw-away clothes when I do! Should I give it a try, and if it works out I'll update this review.
