This small coffee maker only uses 800w, so it works well with my 1000w RV inverter while boon docking. The unit is small and lightweight, and fits easily into a RV drawer when we're traveling. It's single cup brewing, so expect to wait a minute for the water to heat and your java ready. I'd also caution against using the unit at high altitude (over 8000ft) as the water can boil away before dispensing through the k-cup and ruin the unit. The company, CHULUX, does stand behind their product, and sent me a new unit when mine quit working in the first year. Overall, I recommend this unit to RVers or anyone needing a small, portable, low power consumption coffee maker. Finally, almost everyone who sees it thinks it's adorable.

I like the small room this coffee maker takes. I don’t like a lot of items on my counter so I have a 9” wide oak table that abuts up to my counter. This coffee maker is 5+ inches wide and my 7” coffee pod holder fits underneath giving me 2” to spare. No clutter. It is so easy to use. I usually pour filtered water in a cup the night before and then next morning water poured into coffee maker along with pod inserted then pull down handle & turn on. Really like fact that push button turn on is in front of machine. My other Chulux was on side & sometimes forgot to turn on. LOL Coffee is brewed within 2-3 minutes. Coffee tastes GREAT. Highly recommend

UPDATE: It took a full 24 hours to "rest" and reset, and then it started working and has been great ever since. I've pushed it hard for 3 days now, and it's worked fine every time. I'm thinking I might have gotten the inside electronics wet when I initially rinsed it and did the starting clear water run. It might have needed a day to completely dry out. I chalk up my problems and frustrations to user error. Also, Chulux support has been great; they really care about their products and customer satisfaction. Thanks!i earlier reported that: "mine has not worked from the time it came out of the box. It stopped halfway through the first "run water through it" run. Then it stopped working. After cooling off, it made a partial cup of coffee and stopped working. After cooling off again, it immediately ran the whole amount of cold water through the coffee pod and then would not shut of the pump. I finally had to unplug it."

This is a great little coffee maker. The coffee comes out nice and hot. It’s very easy to use. I had an issue and contacted the company. They were quick to respond and answered all my emails promptly. They came up with a solution and solved my problem. They were always courteous and kind in all their emails. So ! If you are looking for a small coffee maker this is the one. Takes up very little room. You can be confident that you are dealing with a company that stands behind its warranty. If I could give more than 5 stars I would !

1. I have the Mikasa coffee mugs (normal size) and they or any other coffee cups will not fit under the brewer. 2. I tried it with a short squat coffee cup (a style of cup I very much dislike drinking from) and it only brewed a half a cup of coffee. 3. It was slow and noisy. I am so angry at myself for blindly believing the positive reviews. I cannot return it since I threw away the packaging and also used the coffee maker and now I am stuck with a piece of useless junk!

We have bought three of these machines, two for us and one as a gift. Nice compact machines but they do not last long as two of the three have already failed.

My parents are coffee pot abusers! I have bought them 3 different mini Keurig’s. When they needed a 4th, I tried something more economical. This one lasted longer than the other 3 put together. When they ruined the 4th by placing it too close to a flame, I bought this one AGAIN. They love it! It’s a great little pot for the price and very simple to use. Fill your desired mug with water, lift the lid, and pour it into machine. Close, place mug below and push the (1) button on top. It is very simple for my elderly parents to use. Not real fast, but is fast enough. Highly recommend!

So far I am really happy with my new coffee maker. It brews the perfect cup of coffee and its very hot. Its not a super fast brewer, but it gets the job done. I’m hoping it last me quite awhile. I stopped buying Kuerig brand because the don’t even last me a year, and I only have 1 cup of coffee a day. Love the color choices.
