This is the OEM part
Motorcraft is the brand of parts made by and for your Ford automobile. I could have purchased a cheaper off brand replacement in place of this CX2102 Exhaust Gas Re-circulation Valve, but it can be a PITA to install, and I didn't want to have to do it twice. So I bought the OEM part at a very fair price.This part looks exactly like the one I took out and installed pretty much as I expected - hard to get at, but not quite as hard as I anticipated.I placed a piece of 12" x 6' plywood on top of the engine compartment so I could lay right up on top, which helped me get that one troublesome bolt out.BTW...Don't do like I did and forget to tighten the large nut on the tube back down when finished.

Great product - Explorer 2008
The installation was easy. Removed the old valve (mileage: 117K) and installed this unit. So far the check engine light has reset, gas mileage is back to normal, no power loss, and fully functional. It will be nice for the seller to add a small lubricant to break seal (rust) from old bolts before installing new EGR valve. I will update this review after 3 months with a progress report.
