Design House 501692 Augusta 1 Traditional Indoor/Outdoor Wall Light Dimmable Clear Glass for Entrance Porch Patio, Solid Brass

Item came in unopened box and was easy to install, if you know what you're doing. It looks great and appears to be fairly water tight, or as good as lamps you'd buy at Home Depot. I'm unsure how they'll hold up since it's only been 3 days.

Light works great and is beautiful. Hole on top for access to light bulb is a little small. I could not insert a GE LED Outdoor Dusk to Dawn light bulb in with my hand. I had to use a suction cup to the top of the bulb to hold it through the hole and insert it into the socket then I could turn it with my hand. The LED's are a bit larger than regular bulbs, but the lower watts and longer life are a huge plus. The glass sides allow the light sensor in the bulbs to work to turn on the bulbs at dusk and turn off at sunrise. The LED light operates cooler than halogen and gives equivalent lumen that should extend the life of this light. I am hoping the finish last a lifetime like the new door locks.

I have been looking for years for a brass finish that looks very nice on the outside of our house. These lights exceed my expectations!!! For the price they are really attractive and very easy to install. Of course eventually they will fade over the many years ( I had brass finish before) but for the money, it's well worth it!!!!

I checked that its solid brass, a magnet does not stick. All glass panels were intact. It has small drains to let any rain that might get in. It uses standard size screws so just swapped it for an old fixture. You can screw the bulb into a motion sensor if you want that function but must purchase your own sensor. A nice fixture.

I like the classic design and hopefully the brass will hold up over time exposed to weather.

Researched, found this one , very close to my original. Probably made in same factory ?? Bad thing is that the attachment brass screw is inside the light housing. My brothers hand was too "FAT". Mine was good and got it attached. Otherwise, is quite brassy bright and proud to have on the house as my front door light!!:) Some caulking and paint, all good!! Content with purchase!

We had an electrician to install these lights because my husband and I know nothing about anything electrical. It only took him about 5 minutes to install 2 lights. We put in motion sensor light bulbs and they work beautifully. The lights look so pretty and really dress up our front entrance.

I took a chance and purchased one that was returned in ‘like new’ condition. All the parts were there and it hooked up easily. The four star rating is because the quality of the brass is uneven and pitted in some areas.

Was looking for a less expensive, brass outdoor light fixture and this one is great! - attractive, nice size Hope for no rust - time will tell.
