UPDATE : Using it for another month after the original review, I realized the speed of the bluetooth connectivity made me use it all the time - it literally only takes 2 seconds to connect to my iphone 6. I am very impatient when it comes to bluetooth pairing, so this comes as a huge plus. Also, the AUX input ( in the back ) is great I have used it on devices that don't have bluetooth connections and it's works flawlessly. Even more happy now.****************************************************I have this speaker for about a month now, it’s been quite a fantastic addition to my house.It comes in a very ridge box which gives you a sense of quality and it cleverly uses it’s USB cable as a pull tab so you can slide the speaker out easily from the box, quite thoughtfully designed. The build quality is nicer than I had expected. It feels really solid yet not too heavy. Silicone non-slip base is nice since I put it in kitchen. Giant volume buttons are nice also as a pretty unique design element. It connects easily to my iPhone 6 without pain. Sound quality is great ( and loud! ) it definitely exceeded my expectation. It also has LED lights to indicate bluetooth connection as expected. What is NOT expected is that it has a removable battery bank as a portable option ( and it is magnetically connected to the body so it doesn’t slide out by accident ) - very clever and practical design! Apparently you can buy spare batteries from Amazon so you can bring a serval with you during outings! I look forward to see other products from this company that can use the same battery packs so you can reuse them for different things. In short, there are many things to like about this speaker and I am pleased with it.Overall this is quite a solidly built speaker and you can’t beat the external battery option, I use it all the time since my iPhone runs low quickly these days.

LOVE IT
The MAQE SOUNDJUMP is great, I am very happy with this product. The quality of the sound is great, it is a small device but the sound can fill a room, it sounds good at low, medium, and high volumes. It sounds like a much bigger speaker!I bought it in gray, it looks great with my Macbook Pro and iPad, and overall looks great in my home. So far I have used it with Macbook Pro, iPad, and my iPhone, for both music and video, and it works great, very easy to pair it. I rarely charge it, the battery lasts for a long time which is a nice convenience.I also like that it will automatically turn off when it has not been in use for a bit, and when it powers off it makes a sound — so it lets you know it has turned off. It also makes a sound when you turn it on. I like that it gives you feedback, it’s a calm, mellow sound.It is a very nice quality speaker, the materials feel sturdy, and the rubberized parts make it feel extra durable. I move it around my home and take it on trips and it continues to work great. I am very happy with this speaker!

Great design, impressive fit & finish, but audio is lacking. I bought this expressly because I am on my 3rd portable bluetooth speaker. Each speaker on the market has integrated (non-replaceable) lithium batteries. The all started with great battery life, but ultimately end with 30 minutes battery life after a full charge.CONS: The Soundjump's sound profile is indeed focused on the low frequency bass. The mid-range is evasive and the high frequency is almost non-existent. It does not compare to its respective competitor models of Bose and Jambox. Battery is held in gently held in place with magnets, so probably not a good speaker for outdoor activities (ie. bike rides)PROS: It definitely connects almost imediately with my BT. Battery is super-easy to replace!

I love this product...great sound! I had a warranty issue and MAQE was very accommodating in getting a replacement to me with no hassle. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting a Bluetooth speaker with exceptional sound.

Acoustical beast!
I was looking for a wireless speaker that was sleek and well priced to use for movies because my ipad and desktop mac volume gets drowned out with any other sounds. Little did I know that this speaker was going to be an acoustical music beast. My soulful guitar tunes, jazz, lounge and latin music sound phenomenal on this thing.Good to know: At first I was having trouble getting a clear sound and I realized it was not the speaker but the equalizer setting on my iphone that was the problem ( I had set to low bass to avoid blowing out my ear drums). Once I switched this the sound improved tremendously.Pros: sleek, nice packaging, long battery life, shipped well, precharged!Cons: a little heavier than expected. Does makes up for it with long battery charge.

The MAQE SoundJump is the complete package! I usually don't leave rating but have to let other consumers know. They can stop searching...Unlike other speaker out there, The MAQE speaker has a slick design build in Aluminum. It makes in high quality unlike other bluetooth speakers I had in the past. The sounds is absolutely sharp and clean! I really enjoy connect to listen music and watch movies for the best sound quality through the speaker. I am so happy with the purchase and ordered two more for my sisters. AMAZING!!!
